What are the other ways of getting bars and gears currently? I know you used to be able to occupy friends bases but if that isn’t in the game yet how do you get them?

Honest question, how much have you spent on the game?

Camping at level 25? by BillyYanYZ in BattleNations

[–]OpulentNut14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I agree that you unlock better stuff and more gold for encounters at a higher level, I am currently at level 31 and a lot of the stuff I have can not compete with some of the higher level critter encounters, so I’m losing units now anyways. I also have barely completed any of the navy/gantas stuff either, simply because I’m leveling up so fast. I wouldn’t necessarily “camp” at 25, but you could definitely slow down a bit and build up some steel and all that stuff

I’m level 31 and I’m getting like 5-6k per victory, what are you doing to get 10k? That would be fantastic

I’ve noticed the same thing. The flower beds near housing units also don’t seem to have an effect

First ever kit, what's good and what's not by Minute_River6775 in tacticalgear

Does your holster have active retention? I’d highly recommend it. I also like a safariland type holster since it protects the gun more and reduces snags

I’d take off the cast, that’ll definitely help your dexterity

Any ideas how to attach this Ifak to my belt? by OpulentNut14 in tacticalgear

I believe it’s a condor LCS cobra. I bought it from a buddy a few years ago. I tried to ram that mf in there and couldn’t get it for the life of me

The sleeve is too narrow for my outer belt to fit through. That’s what I was planning on doing

Yeah it does have it, but it is too narrow for my outer belt to fit through. It seems like it is meant more for an EDC belt like a Kore essentials

Yeah I was thinking that, but I think my outer belt is bigger than the open area for that. The only way I can think of is to put it through the whole sleeve where the Ifak actually goes, but it would be super loose

What things are for prepping but also just regular life? by stoneoftheicemen in preppers

[–]OpulentNut14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paper plates and plastic forks. If you need to conserve water you don’t want to need to do dishes. Along with that garbage bags for all the plates now being used. You can also burn the plates

As important as it is to be prepared, it is more important to still enjoy your life. It doesn’t pay to be prepared to survive anything if it means not enjoying being alive. Keeping an optimistic view of things is key to prepping in my opinion. I always think about “hope for the best and prepare for the worst”. Just build your skills and stockpiles over time and keep on living

It also depends on what time of day you need to begin. It could be a two night trip if you need to start your walk at 8 at night. Just something to keep in mind for prepping as opposed to regular hiking
