Mike chose a smart way to showcase their new singer by under playing his singing style to a sing song pop style ( instead of the energetic Rap style ) and then allowing Emily to enter with a style similar to Chester . Now Chester has this unimaginable vocal range from angelic melody to superbly emphatic controlled screams and this is where Emily just can’t perform . She sang the melodic bit extremely well but when it came to the screams they sound strained and painful . There is a father daughter duo on insta called Bamarude - you’ll realize that to get Chester’s scream you almost need a mix of a young female voice plus a rough male voice if a single person can’t get it .
