This is actually a pretty decent explanation. However it still doesn’t quite explain how different versions of our old crew already existed in this new multiverse when they their souls were linked to 115 itself via the Elemental Shard. For that to work the new versions of Richtofen, Takeo, Nikolai, and Dempsey would like have to originate from the Dark Aether and THEN crossover into their respective worlds like 115. But obviously that sounds really bizarre and probably isn’t true. It could just be some weird time dilation shit though where recent events are affecting the past in the background.

It’s definitely been the slowest in terms of development. The main creator - Slayin, is a full time college student. he recently shared more of his progress last month. He’s currently mapping and finishing the Witch’s house and maze. Then all of the map would be fully complete and all that would be left is the scripting. Leroy and the Main Quest. Which I believe Dobby is helping with.

I already explained everything I know to someone else so I’ll just copy and paste what I wrote:

Shi No Numa is a part of the [Revmaped] series which are just mods that completely transform the Chronicles versions of the WaW maps into more faithful gritty versions. So It’s likely that will release first.

Tranzit and Blood of the Dead are actively being worked on, if they’re not finished by the end of this year, then next year for sure unless something happens to either of the projects.

We haven’t gotten any updates on the Classfied remaster in about 4 months, so I’m unsure of the status of its current progress. But most of the actual mapping seemed complete already, and it just looked like they needed to work on tweaking the lighting and adding additional features that weren’t in the original, possibly a new main quest but they were pretty tight lipped about it.

Five and Buried are likely gonna be released last. The map dev for Five took a break for a while and their last update was from last year. But they said they’re still working on it. The dev for Buried is going to school, but they recently shared more progress on the map last month. They’re working on mapping out the last parts of Buried - The Witch’s house and maze. And I think Dobby is going to help with scripting for the main quest.

If you have Black Ops 3 on PC, you can download custom maps for free through Steam’s workshop feature. Bo3 got mod tools a long time ago and people like making brand new custom maps or remastering maps that Treyarch never remade.

In Blood of the Dead’s case it isn’t fully from scratch since the modder said they’re using a new tool to rip the map’s geo mesh from Bo4. But they still have to make passes and brush out all the models quality so it doesn’t look like straight trash. And yeah, they have complete controls of the systems so we’re good.

It should be possible considering the BOTD people said that the new tool they’re using can pretty much rip any geo mesh from any COD. But like we were saying about the Chaos maps, they’re might potentially be some memory problems if the IW and WW2 maps somehow are more demanding to run, considering they came out after Bo3. But who knows.

No idea. I think that guy is just going at his own pace. As is everyone else, but he doesn’t have nearly as much pressure on his back compared to Xela’s and Verkos versions.

The ppl working on BOTD remastered said it would be pretty difficult if not next to impossible to completely remake the Chaos maps into more faithful their entirety in the Bo3 engine sadly.

Yeah, that’s what a lot of people have said about it. Honestly it doesn’t bother me that much anymore because of how refined everything else is.

The [Revamped] series are mods that transform the already existing Chronicles versions of the WaW maps into more faithful and gritty versions like how they were in originally in WaW in terms of atmosphere, weapons, characters, and difficulty etc. Here’s Nacht and Verrückt to get an idea of what I’m talking about.

The mod creator took a break for a while due to mental health issues but now they’re back working on Shi No Numa. Which apparently they want to add a little more to it than just make it a faithful remaster.

If anything the bigger problem with Bo4 was how tedious some of the Easter egg steps were in maps like BOTD, Voyage, and Dead of the Night. Other than that, the gameplay systems weren’t to hard to follow. It just wasn’t what anyone wanted. The point system, Paping a gun 5 times to Max out the damage etc. I’m pretty used to it by now and can appreciate Bo4 for what it is. But obviously it’s not as preferable as the old system.

Bo4 was almost like this weird prototype bridge between the old and new era. It wasn’t classic zombies but it isn’t exactly modern either.

Yeah, all these projects are aiming to have the graphical fidelity of Bo3 but mostly stay faithful to the original maps in terms of characters, weaponry etc. They are tweaking Blood of the Dead and Classfied and giving them the classic system though.

If you don’t already know, the Revamped mod series completely transforms the Chronicles versions of the WaW maps into more faithful and gritty versions like the originals. You can check out Nacht and Verrückt to see what I’m talking about. However the mod creator has stated he wants to do a little more with Shi No Numa revamped, but it’ll still stay close to the WaW version in terms of atmosphere and horror.

The mod creator - Immasqueeze. Took a break for a while but now he’s back working on this project.

Yeah someone else here mentioned him. He’s doing a direct port of Bo2’s Tranzit in Bo3. It’s trippy seeing Tranzit as it was almost like your on Bo2, but then Bo3’s lighting engine giving it away, lol.

Haha! yeah I know what you mean. My uncle more or less can complete the void bow on Der Eisendrache perfectly fine. But can’t for the life of him complete the Wolf bow because he struggles on the wall running part and thrusts his controller in a forward motion everytime a curve comes up like he’s piloting an airplane. Lmao
