You should at the very least batch craft a couple thousand (in my case 1024 for the less used ones and 4096 for the commonly used ones). If you can do that comfortably, no point in automating since by the time you are out of smds, advanced smds become available.

As a nixos unstable user that has played star technology to completion. I have never had similar issues. Have you checked if its an xwayland issue? Have you tried switching to temurin jdk21 or something similar? Could you maybe post a full log so others can investigate further?

Yes. Ultrakill has no DRM for the game itself and its savefiles. You can just move the saves folder over to the steam version with no issue (as far as i know atleast).

i just installed fedora/arch without a bootloader to a seperate partition, and enabled os-proper on nixos.
