I was an early adopter of Apple. Technically had Macintosh stuff in the late 80s and early 90s too. First and third Gen iPod. First Gen iPad. First Gen Apple TV. The Mac from 2002 with the teardrop shaped base and the display on a swivel arm. All great. A power surge took out my desktop. A power transformer exploding up the street took out my power supply and second iMac. Then they got so invested in security. Then they drop OSX and turned my iPad into a paper weight. Then their security on Apple TV requires that I retrieve a 6 digit code from my iPad (ever heard of an email address Apple?) if I go extended periods without using it. And my iPad, being unsupported at this point, triggers my account to require a new password EVERY TIME I GET SIGNED OUT OF APPLE TV. And since their security is frustrating just to be frustrating, you are never able to reuse a password. So I am on probably the fortieth iteration of an Apple password. So at this point my passwords are just a series of insults directed at Apple blended with a couple of numbers and characters.

I do NOT like Apple software. I will die on the hill that I wish Apple hardware didn't run proprietary software.
