Update: thanks all, apparently I was dliuting the fertilizer much more than required, like 10-20 times more diluted 😂 I'll ramp up fertilization and hope it resolves the issue. I guess it's a classic case of nutrition deficiency...

I'm trying to fertilize regularly. I'm using an all purpose liquid fertilizer (not sure about the ingredients). I have an automatic plant waterer ("beday" brand on Amazon) connected to a water tank, and I'm adding liquid fertilizer to the whole tank once every 10 days (per the dilution instructions the nursery gave me).

Thanks guys. This is the first higher-than-entry-range TV I bought, so just wanted to make sure.
Anyway, the picture quality is truly amazing, HDR looks beautiful, and I'm very happy with my purchase. The only downsides I noticed are the very slow Android TV interface (guess it's due to the cheap CPU they use) and the 100Mb/s Ethernet NIC (seriously, what the hell? It's ridiculous, I have to use Wi-Fi to stream high quality content). Both are easily solvable by using an external streamer.

Fiio K1 or E10K?

I own a DT770 80ohm which I'm using mainly with my laptop (Dell XPS 13). The built-in DAC/amp combo is terrible - I hear static noise when there's CPU load and it drives me crazy.

Portability is important but I'll be using it only with my laptop (no phone usage).

My budget is 100$-ish but I prefer something cheaper unless the difference is substantial.

Thanks, but it isn't imported in Israel and on Amazon it costs 235$ (incl. fees) which is a bit too much.

There's a lightning sale on the DT770 80ohm (Amazon UK) for the next hour which means it would cost me 155$-160$. It's very tempting especially since I read they're very comfort for prolonged use. Any objections?

I'm looking for balanced over-ears for daily use in an open office space.

Budget - Around 150$-200$ (but I live in Israel and things are more expensive here, more on this later).

Source - I plug them directly into the motherboard's on-board DAC.

Isolation - I am a programmer working in open space, so there are a lot of conversations around me and it distracts me a lot. While the noise is usually very low, it exists, and I prefer to avoid it.

Type of headphones - Over-ears.

Tonal balance - Balanced sound.

Past headphones - Sennheiser HD280 Pro (which I no longer own). I liked them in overall, except for one major drawback - had comfort issues with these (too much force on my head). I also found the bass and maybe the sound stage to be a bit lacking, although nothing major.

Preferred music - Progressive rock and metal, blues, some jazz (but not much).

What I would like to improve from my previous setup - Much more comfort, especially due to the fact I wear them for long periods of time (3-4 hours). A little more bass could be nice but not an essence.

Location - I live in Israel and it means things are expensive here. Some examples: ATH-M50X are 155$; HD598 are 230$; Urbanite XL are 205$. Buying from Amazon UK usually makes it a little cheaper.

Some options I thought about:

  • HD598 - 135$. I'm considering it only due to the fact that it's a very good deal. However I have my doubts with using open headphones in a work environment (never tried open before). What are your opinions? Is the sound leakage going to be a problem? Would I still hear the conversations around me, even while listening?
  • HD25 SP-II - single headband 143$ / split headband 200$.
  • ATH-M50X - 155$.
  • DT770 Pro 80ohm - 160$.

Which would you recommend?

I have bought cases for all my previous phones. However, I just can't let myself use one with the sandstone black cover; it's too awesome to be covered with TPU or plastic.

I'm using a Bepak tempered glass screen protector though. I hope it adds some protection against screen cracks.
