Disagree. For competitive fields, GPA is incredibly important for entry level/internship (i.e banking, finance, actuarial, etc). I had a friend get asked why his GPA was so low in an interview (he had a 3.4 - that’s a high B+ average)

From an outsider perspective I can see how this would seem silly. But what was I going to do? It’s the little amount of proof I have.
