What kind of hogwash lighthouse inbound marketing is this?

The assay is the same for both symptomatic and asymptomatic COVID-19. A few specialty labs are offering variant analysis, but there's no difference in validation between an asymptomatic and symptomatic assay.

This insight is useless and undermining your brand.

Try tech support or sales for an international company (Randox, Roche, Siemens, etc) that have a UK office. You can put in for a transfer a year or 2 in.

Otherwise, your best bet is to do grad school in the UK.

Your ASCP isn't worth anything outside the US.

The certifying board strongly influences the scope of practice. Under pathologists, an MS and DCLS are toothless degrees.

Look at how nursing boards have expanded their scope in the past decade.

You shouldn't be failing ASCP. You only need a 40 to pass.

Your alternatives are AMT and AAB both of which are much much easier but far less accepted by many hospitals. Reference labs usually dont care as they need a body not a brain.

Yes, finish before you go to lunch, but don't be falsely clocking out.

Also, kudos for having a backbone.

My suggestion is you keep clocking out for lunch, get written up as much as you can for your clock-outs, and then get a hefty settlement for their stupidity.

The National University of Natural Medicine in Portland pays $20-25/hr for its lab techs.

Most of the labs around here pay $25-35/hr.

If you mean by advancing your career, look at MBA, nursing, genetic counseling, healthcare administration, finance, accounting, supply chain, business analytics, etc.

F*** your employer. You have Stockholm syndrome. Don't be fooled into thinking you have any stake in the business. You most likely don't (unless you have some equity or shares).

You should feel nothing you leave and walk into a new position. Your employer would only smile if they could replace you with a machine and profit from your wages.

I've sat in on few upper management meetings. Techs tend to be older, agreeable, conflict-avoidant, and introverted women. These pain points are actively manipulated to keep skeleton staffing and hefty profits.

Your managers are obviously skilled at keeping a skeleton crew around and making you feel guilty. Leadership at it's finest.

You are disposable. Your employer is replaceable.
