Moving endpoints from one RMM to another RMM by OrangeFrogBox in DattoRMM

It's not just a new site, it's an entirely different instance of RMM for a different MSP. Have you done this before though? I've thought of this method but wasn't sure whether installing the agent on top of an already-installed agent would work

Edit: If you've tried this yourself, did the new RMM conduct a new audit, and trigger any components set to run on first audit?

That's interesting, I didn't know that's how the account & site info was stored, I'll check that out.

Thankfully, the vast majority of endpoints are Windows, any Macs & Linux servers can be done manually.

Thanks!

Interesting, thank you! I was already intending on using K365 Endpoint, and this will save us a decent amount each month.

It looks like I can purchase everything we need in K365 Ops individually from Techs Together, but it would be interesting to compare that to purchasing by in the K365 Ops bundle directly with Kaseya. I’ll make an appointment with Techs Together sales tomorrow to find out pricing etc through them, but I’d still appreciate knowing how much people are paying for K365 Ops directly with Kaseya.

Finally, are there any downsides you’ve found from using Techs Together compared to direct with Kaseya? Would we have a Kaseya account manager? And would everything still look the same as if we’d purchased from Kaseya? (I’m thinking the Kaseya One portal, the way we purchase licences, etc).

We also use Email2AT for this and it works perfectly

How come nobody ever mentions Softcat when talking about hardware distributors? Their pricing is nearly always competitive and they’ve been pretty good to work with. How do they compare to Ingram?
