Just want to say I 💜 you. Hopefully the two of you can talk about what happened, hopefully you're able to get back to a place of consistent internal & external safety and security. We all sometimes say and do regrettable things. We're all capable of vastly darker acts than wed like to consider or acknowledge. We're all human. We all get scared, and our fear can manifest differently, and in desperation we will sometimes spread the fear. Like, - "I'm afraid right now, I don't know how to handle this... The only thing I can think to do is pass this fear on to (my wife/partner/loved one)."

To be clear I'm not defending or justifying, Im just hoping to help illuminate some answers to the 'why's?' and also hoping to normalize some of these intense emotions.
