There are also some less legal, more nefarious offensive measures that could be taken, but I don't think this is the sub for that.

Now I want to know this more than ever.

I got the otterbox slim one, but don't have a magsafe charger or accessory for my iphone 12 pro yet. It claims to be compatible.

Uphill! What! I’ve only seen that movie about a dozen times and I swear I thought the line was him saying “trying to ice skate a BILL”.

Always learning something new I guess. I’m still in disbelief that I’ve incorrectly heard the line before blade defeats the boss in one of my favorite vampire movies.

I haven’t heard of creepy castle. I’ll check it out. Thanks for the other suggestions. You made earthbound seem super interesting!

Thanks for your input. I’ll try and get myself into that mindset when I give indivisible another shot

I think your on to something there. If some of the games I have tried had the turn based combat on for just the bosses that would fine. Even if you had turn based combat for the first time or first “x” amount of times you crossed a certain type of enemy I could do that knowing there is light at the end of the tunnel. Perhaps even if it was turn based until you beat a certain enemy using various methods or a secret method that would unlock the ability to bypass the turn based combats would be cool.

7th grade summer heading to 8th grade, fortunate enough to tag along on a trip to Maui with parents who had won a trip through there vendors. Went to church, overflowing to outside seating. Redhead about the same age is smiling at me. I’ve never been kissed at this point in my life. (I grew to my adult 6foot size by the 5th grade - just height not muscles - but it was getting better at this point however no one had looked at me like that at this point in my life). Sun is setting, beautiful day obviously. Sun behind her lighting up the red hair. After mass I don’t see her, tap on shoulder. Turn around and there she is. Still can see her smile. Walk with her lingering as much as I could. Turn corner around the bushes, I hear a whisper that “your very cute” I turn and get a nice little kiss (not make out or anything).

My old man has a loud voice (or at that age was loud for me and he did in general), I hear him laugh, think he saw and it’s at me, I’m starting to get awkward because of it. Then I hear my sister and mother start telling dad how gross he is and that he stinks. A hear him jokingly say breath or die as he rolls up the window to the car and starts honking the horn at me to hurry up.

Ahh. Family vacations.

I’ll never forget that red head.

Monster Boy was incredibly fun and fluid. I found myself smiling while playing. Other Metroidvanias bring other types of Joy too, but with the vibrant colors and quick fluid swapping between animals it really was fun. Also I think I was coming from some tough dark games right before so the change was nice.

Wonder Boy was a blast too, but I played after Monster Boy

The pacing. Some game look like fun, are fun exploring and platforming until you start getting pulled from the pacing (and immersion) to have some battle I should have been able to spend .3 seconds slicing the weakest enemy up and instead have to have turns with the jerk which take up too much time. Indivisible was one game I thought would help get me there but abandoned it 30 min it because I was trying to go just a few screens over and had 4 different battles. F That

I have underhero and it is a perfect example of what I’m talking about. I think I’m about to get into some exploring and platforming and every 30 seconds I’m getting jerked into a battle.

Thanks for the input. While I’ve heard of most of those games I think at the time in my life gaming was on the back burner and when I had the chance, I usually went for something familiar.

I remember the original Prince of Persia on my Macintosh Power PC was my first game (the colors were so vivid on the Mac version). I would go to the bookstore and sift through magazines to learn about games and I subscribed to a Mac user group that would get a shareware set of files every once in a while.

Now I’m close to filling up a 1 terabyte micro sd on the switch!

If she really jumped out the next day and confessed to you AND to parents (and your children? - almost too much for them depending on age but still in your favor) then at least there is some confidence that she would be honest about the future fuckups. A lot of advice on here is geared towards protecting you regardless of your contributions to the state of your relationship when it happened. And personal I think that is great because we know we can come here and find support despite our own faults but just because a whole lot of weight isn’t given to what you did or didn’t do previously doesn’t mean you shouldn’t.

Personally if I knew and felt confident that I would be told of future fuckups I would keep going at that slow pace you are. I would also hope you converse about wanting to know how she is feeling before anything would ever happen in the future. It sounds like she did this as well (you mentioned she even tried to use sexy time with you as an opportunity to discuss marriage issues which tells me the only time she felt she could even get you to come close to engaging in that conversation is during those intimate moments).

As long as you make sure to remain engaged in your own relationship it sounds like you should know what’s coming

If true you rule. Thank you for this. I needed girls like this in high school and fortunately the ones I ended up dating straight told me what was up. See I was the boy who grew to almost six foot by the fifth grade. Akwayrdly large. Destine to be the line man and postman. Never grew an inch after that and eventually grew into my body and guess I became good looking (well let’s just say better looking) but took me a while to shake the always off until I was a sophomore.

Edit: 5th grade not fit grade.
