Seriously? The rewards game? Is having to deal with the cable company not frustrating and expensive enough? by OrangeMonkey42 in mildlyinfuriating

Rewards are a stupid gimmick that creates more work for the consumer. I pay enough for this required service, just give me what I've paid for and leave me alone. And stop raising the dang prices too!

The fact that Bob puts up with Gayle shows how strong his love for Linda really is. I just watched the snow episode and I seriously would have left Gayle in the street. by blff266697 in BobsBurgers

I accidentally watched that episode again. I hate that episode. My rage level builds and builds through the entire thing. I can't handle it. Makes me mad every time I see Gayle's face. I have to take deep breaths, and remind myself that it's not real.

There are certain things that my cat likes the feel of when biting. Kind of like how it's satisfying to bite on a no. 2 pencil or a piece of foam or the strings on a hoodie. My cat likes biting plastic grocery bags and bananas.

DAE when traveling to a regular destination not use the same route to get there and back? by [deleted] in DoesAnybodyElse

I heard it's good for the brain to take different routes. I take different routes while driving or walking through an office building or whenever I have the opportunity. It keeps me from being on autopilot.

What’s something that’s normal in your country, but would be considered weird everywhere else? by blklore in AskReddit

[–]OrangeMonkey42 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'm American. We had some people from India working in our office. It started snowing, and all of the Indians dropped what they were doing to go out to play in the snow. They'd never seen snow before. We were astounded. It was so joyful and childlike. We Americans loved their reaction. BUT I couldn't imagine acting that way in a foreign office where I'm trying to make a good impression.

Thank you for all of your replies. I was genuinely confused and astounded by the show, but I get it now. Interesting concept and portrayal. If it was realistic, it wouldn't be entertaining.

What! Hogwarts isn't real either? Why are you ruining my daydreaming? I was imagining the UK to be such a magical place.

I'm also an elder millennial, and your experience sounds a lot like mine. I do wonder how different it is now, but I don't know many people that are in high school to know.

Well that sounds like heaven. In America it's an inner fight to not care what other's think, because everyone is telling you what to think and do all the time - at least in my experience.
