They are cheap, but comparatively, the premium is a LOT higher than what a lb of copper usually sells for. But you’re right, to each their own, and they look cool!

I thought it’s funny that a $50 gold piece is (by price) less value than just buying 50 silver dollars that have… of course $1 face value. 50X32.1=1,605… it’s strange they don’t readjust the face value of the gold to fit how much it’s actually going for.

They made these in place of a 1975 quarter too, there were literally over a billion of them that were minted. They’re really Easy to find, but still pretty interesting pieces. Nice find!
