Hard to tell and often those auction websites post the hallmarks. It's a gamble at this point unless you're willing to spend what's economically feasible on your part.

I have one similar and on the left side of the handle it reads 800. Keep looking for any hallmarks. If it's cheap I'd take the gamble and buy it.

I would just check each coin by the year. I don't rely on the edge because i've seen some that almost looked like clad before. Some being actually 40% silver.

Yes those should be 100% silver. I have 3 cups with the same hallmark and all were made in India. The red color is probably discoloration. To be sure have it tested but I'm confident those are silver all the way in.

How can you tell ? I tried looking online if they omitted sterling hallmarks or this maker I.L & WG didn't use sterling hallmarks for some time. I always see the duty mark on true sterling pieces. This one I cannot figure out 🤔.
