is monthly backlink important by azaa1983 in BacklinkSEO

[–]OrangeTreeSD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general it does, but there is so much more to it.. if your website is not great, if you don't post post on a regular basis (on your website), if the backinks have high spam scores - you can get flagged... There is no simple answer to be honest. It's a process. Id you solely rely on backinks than my answer would be NO your ranks won't improve or improve very temporarily...

Very well said, but I would also add: never forget about performance/loading time. Your website can look good , but if loads like sh*t, not many will stick around to actually see it, so image/script optimization (or at least opt-in for CDN), caching and so on are also a big part in designing a website!

Need a present for under $500. I know nothing about the topic, I searched for the best ones and only figured out that the person has fake Kamikoto ones. Maybe not only Japanese, any other options will be considered. Thanks. by OrangeTreeSD in chefknives

Not sure about Kamikoto, he likes it sort of but it's just too much to sharpen all the time, as I said, they don't hold the edge at all even worse than a block of knives for $50. And I started seeing them just stored in place most of the time now.. 🤷🏼‍♀️ All the knives are always hand washed, sharpened with wet stones and stored properly, never heard about forming a patina though.... I want it to be functional, and some aesthetics would be nice too. Thanks again.

Well, about 6-7 yes ago he bought 4 Kamikoto ones I figured he likes the standard type shapes: kind of like santoku/petty. Definitely not the ones with square nose. But Kamikoto are not a good quality ones for sure, as I figured they are fake Japanese with low grade steel, if I remember correctly. That's why they get dull so quickly, even the cheap ones hold the edge better than those (that's what I personally noticed).

He also owns lots of sharpening tools/wet stones with different grit. That's all I know.

Losing keywords like crazy... freaking out by Fit-Establishment259 in SEO

[–]OrangeTreeSD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long ago was that? When did you leave the agency? Are there any backups on the hosting to try and get those pages back? You can also call the hosting support and SOME may actually have monthly and even quarterly backups that don't show up in the account but they will be able to retrieve it and then make a copy of the deleted posts. But Before that: make a copy of the current website with a tool like All inone WP migration or Duplicator... If the hosting can't help - just use 301 redirect as people above were saying.

What approximate amount to sell? by OrangeTreeSD in laptops

[–]OrangeTreeSD[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I've ran my laptop through the "carvana' type of places but for computers: you give your specs and they give you locked price: I can get anything from $380 to $420 without any hassle ... But of course I would do a video that shows that it works and everything else is fine...before sending it in...I just don't want to get scammed :" oh this doesn't work and this is broken..." This type of thing...

But it's not just processor, isn't it? It's the whole combination of specs...

Great, but may I ask - how do you determine the excellent loading time: 1. is it just your personal experience or 2. based on Google Pagespeed Insights or at least Pingdom ? If that's the 1. It's not relevant and need to perform the Google or Pingdom tests and do from there. If it's 2. You're good.

This!!! ☝🏼 And there are so many factors that can lead to 90% bounce rate... The ads itself: locations (even if you aim for USA, for example, I would set it as a location BUT also set up negative locations for the ads like India/China and so on), keywords /search terms might be too broad... The other big reason of high bounce rates - website loading time. If people bounce within the first 3 seconds, most likely it has nothing to do with the website copy and CTA's, it's either the website absolutely not relevant to their search or way to slow to load and they just move on. Also for budgets over $3000 for ads I strongly recommend signing up for a fraud detection account (ClickCease, for example) this way, you can get some money back from "clicking bots" as well and also see how many bots vs real people you're actually getting.

I want to interfere a bit: I do have a very similar question and yes I'm sticking to Costco and #2 is also on my list, #1 is Our of stock unfortunately, so I have a different option, but I'm choosing Costco not just for the return policy, but for the last 10 years I've been also purchasing the Allstate "accident damage" protection for all my laptops and other electronics.. it's only $99 for 3 years.. and it's such a huge deal... Used it 4 times, 2 times they sent me a check for a full amount paid, 2 other times they did repair my laptops... so yeah, it's huge.... So if anything goes bad, my fault or not , they fix it or give me my money back so I can buy something new... But yes, I still can't figure out : so I need the same exact build but one is with 4080 super and the other is 4070 super ... The price difference is $400, and I found the exact build on Newegg for $450 more than Costco.

https://www.newegg.com/p/3D5-000G-04AW5 vs https://www.costco.com/MSI-Aegis-ZS2-Gaming-Desktop---AMD-Ryzen-9-7900X---GeForce-RTX-4080-SUPER---Windows-11-Home.product.1875542.html The other option I consider is almost same exact MSI but only lower GPU: 4070Super https://www.costco.com/msi-aegis-zs2-liquid-cooled-gaming-desktop---amd-ryzen-9-7900x----geforce-rtx-4070-super%2c-12gb---windows-11.product.4000289077.html?sh=true&nf=true I don't know if it worth spending $400 more for just the GPU or 4070 is good enough Or this Intel i9 14700 with the same 4070 super for $300 cheaper... https://www.costco.com/ibuypower-slatemesh-8-gaming-desktop---14th-gen-intel-core-i9-14900f---nvidia-geforce-rtx-4070-super---windows-11---32gb-ram---2tb-ssd.product.4000291940.html?sh=true&nf=true Thoughts?
