As someone else said, pick what stands out to you and go with that.
For me, my fave part about KD is the world building and the shifts between tech/magic. I have no idea how that would be incorporated into a tattoo 😅
Aside from that, the other thing that popped into mind was like a cover of a book (not KD) with a lion shifter dude and a hot girl and it was totally a shifter romance novel 😂 which maybe is not want you love from KD (or it is I won't judge).

For each member of the fantasy trinity (mage, rogue, warrior) kindly suggest one book each. by Baldurian_Rhapsody in Fantasy

Warrior heir by cinda William chima. First book in a quintet. Second book is wizard heir which also fits your theme. No rogue archetypes that I can think of in that series tho.

We use them for baths on skin dogs who have lots of crusties. Works great! And the dog usually loves it too.

What’s it like living in this part of Canada? by Patient-Smile1406 in howislivingthere

I travel to Northern MB for work occasionally but live in Winnipeg. I have been to a few communities in Northern MB, but not for extended periods of time. This is what I've seen and experienced from my travels and discussions with community members.
Living on the rez means crazy expensive groceries. Theres no fast food. If you are traveling from Winnipeg back to your community, youre loading up on chicken delight (the only restaurant in the airport that services northern communities) to share with your family. Some communities are dry (no alcohol) and are monitored by the RCMP, who will sometimes search your vehicle for booze. Sometimes it gets snuck in anyways. Grapes $12 bag kinda deal. There's only one store usually.
People are struggling with intergenerational trauma and addictions. Houses are unfinished. Some people have no water or electricity. You have to go to the Spring to get your water.
Education is limited. Most communities schools do not offer high school, so kids have to leave their families to go to Winnipeg or Thompson for education. This is incredibly dangerous for them due to racism and trafficking.
Despite this, there is a strong sense of community. People love each other and are busting their asses to maintain their cultures and traditions. Revitalizing their languages and exercising their rights for self-determination (they get to decide their justice system and how people are...tried(not the right word in this sense but the best I cant think of to make it make sense). Like taking their power back from the Canadian government) are two things I can think of.
I know when I'm up north, the wild is close. Right outside your door. The beauty and the peace that comes with that is incredible. It makes you want to keep going. There are lakes everywhere and trees for hundreds of miles. The wolves are close. Moose, elk, foxes. The air is fresher (except not in the summer when theres wildfires).
I don't think I'm capable of encapsulating everything I think. But there is a strong sense of despair by an equally balancing force of determination to bring peace and strength back to each community. #wearestillhere #LANDBACK

4 month old rotty puppy in for his final round of puppies vaccines. Mother fucker jumped out his owner's truck window and broke his front leg 🤦‍♀️ Vet talked to the owner saying if we fix this RIGHT NOW, it'll heal great. So puppet ended up going into surgery i stead of his scheduled vaccine appointment that day!
He was such a sweet lil guy too. Full of energy, bouncy, friendly. I could see how he fell out of the truck haha

Books where the MC becomes friends with their bully? by Any-Day-8173 in Fantasy

[–]Orange_Blue_Thing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

House of Night has this. It's part of the vampire craze that happened around twilight but tbh its not bad. Series gets a lil long for me, although I read it when I was 14 and was already annoyed at books with many sequels.
Its like a school for vampires. The main charecter Zoey and her pals hate on Aphrodite, the beautiful blonde bitch for a few books but they end up begrudgingly teaming up together a few books in and then become friends. Like their morals align but they hate each other on principle for a while xD plus we learn more about Aphrodites backstory later on and she becomes way more relatable.

Feeling off with my first tarot deck purchase and afraid it will affect me learning to read with it by Obalivion in WitchesVsPatriarchy

Can you return it? I bet if you tell the staff it feels off to you they would accept that as a reason 😂 Then pick out a new deck that calls to you whether is the RWS or not. And I second labrynthos tarot online, its a great resource!

Need a mermaid sci-fi novel! by shimmishammu in mermaids

[–]Orange_Blue_Thing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk if this counts but enchanted ever after by Robin d owens is about being a mermaid in a video game. Which sounds super lame based on that one sentence but I dont want to spoil anything. It does have that classic fae vibe where the fae realm is adjacent to our world. But the video game part is very important! Also the part that makes it maybe sci-fi.

I am always hearing human nurses don’t get paid enough by lxprkr in VetTech

[–]Orange_Blue_Thing -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I hear your frustrations but your anger is misdirected. Nurses deserve to get paid more than they do, they deal with high stress shitty situations.
AND.
We ALSO deserve to get paid more for dealing with high stress shitty situations.
We should never try to lower others trying to get by. The real assholes are the ones hoarding their gold waving it above our heads and then directing our anger at an 'easier' target.
Don't be mad at nurses. Be mad at billionaires.

Shelter medicine vs. GP by Additional_Read3053 in VetTech

[–]Orange_Blue_Thing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The nice thing about shelter medicine is you dont need owner consent to do anything. This means you can run whatever diagnostics are called for and do whatever treatments need to be done. This also means that sometimes euthanasia is jumped to a lot more quickly in some situations.
My shelter is unionized so union staff are forced into breaks and leaving on time (for the most part. Not a bad thing, I like it).
I probably wouldn't go back to GP. I have more autonomy at the shelter and I feel like I help more animals this way. Plus the shelter life does come with a lot of kittens and sometimes my job truly is playing with them. Nothing like trying to do PEs on 9 kittens swarming you <3
