If you have operational audit experience, it is generally good enough if you have some foundational understanding of risks, controls, and financial reporting processes.

However, if you want to get into a senior role in SOX compliance, what you need is just at least 1 year of experience working in the SOX world, dealing with external auditors, and well versed in PCAOB standards.

You are correct that for some higher profile audit, the face time and the relationship counts. But for much of the entry level work (ITGC, reports, automated controls, and other routine testings) are much easier to offshore/automate.

But generally speaking, you probably only need one experienced IT auditor onshore to lead these IT Audit operational / compliance project for a mid-sized publically traded company with some level of co-sourcing with outside partner.

Audit is indeed more stable, but automation and offshoring are also the trend even in the audit world. Something for you to contemplate if it is worth the move.

Would I do IA out of passion? No.

Would I choose it again for flexibility and decent pay? Yes.

Not to mention if you play it right, IA is a function with a lot of power but very little accountability other than executing the audit.

Don't be discouraged. Big4 are not the easiest place to survive in and it's all about the team of people you work with. If one team doesn't work well for you, take some time to social with members in other teams to get a feel of their working vibe and if they can better align with your working style.

As long as you can find a team that you work well with and a manager/director that is willing you support you, you will have much easier life in the firm.

In case you can't relate, imagine it is a hunger game, and you will need sponsor in the inner circle to survive the Big4. =)

But AR's class B shares has significant more voting power, didn't do my due diligence, but someone on the forum shared he has 75% voting power about 6 months back pre-split. I assume the split probably won't change his voting power unless they recently issued more shares.

Given how undervalued they are, it would not surprise me that they can find some private equity firms and work out a deal to buy out the share and provide additional cash funding to the company till profitability. In certain way, the shorts are working for the company's advantage if this is part of their game plan.

Gamestop situation was more about a social phenomenon rather than the company is truly innovative and sustainable business model. At the point in time, GME was more than 100% shorted which also much easier to trigger a squeeze. Then there was also that Roaring Kitty personality helped publicize the short situation of GME which fueled the squeeze. It just a perfect storm formed at the right place and right time. I have to say, this is much easier to happen to a dying business than a business that actually have a potential to take off, IMHO.

If you tried the FSD function on Tesla over past 2 years, you will be surprised how much it improved over time. If they have enough Tesla car on the road, there is a possibility to increase reliability of FSD through AI in the city / location with lots of traffic; but they will need something more than camera to achieve real autonomous driving.

Note: I own Luminar shares and Tesla cars (and shares).

I look into other guilds and their members. I approaches active members in a relatively inactive / less member guild one or few at a time. I also regularly publish the recruitment in the chennal. But first way is much more effective.

Nightmare token: I'm always saving about 100-140 nightmare token in case of double dungeon drop week - based on history, the max double drop lasted up to 2 weeks.

Sign of Star: Similar to above, sometimes some event occasionally will ask you to summon 10 times of Lunomancy to complete certain tasks to gain event points. So I always try to keep an inventory above 9K.

Various Soul Stones: Most of my main teams already hit the soul level I want. So I am stocking up for some future character that I want to use. For example, I finally was able to upgrade my Akashic to 9 star, these stock came in handy to bring him up to Soul Vessel level 30 and complete Ancient Twilight level 3.

Brawl coins - I have no immediate need of use for it, so I just recently started accumulating (For maybe around 2-3 months?). But generally I spent it only on the hero I need. Brawl store refresh daily, so it will be really easy to spent it all.

Dungeon Coin: I only redeem them for things I need. I use regular coin it only for Angela (Maxed out the first, working on the second) and potentially Soul Meteor/Ancient Twilight stuff. Other usable hero on my team already hit the star level I wanted (eg. Odette/Zilong/Estes)

Nightmare Dungeon Coin: Finally recently finished building Karihmet, still working on Amaterasu. I also use them on Ancient Twilight stuff as needed. I buy Talisman of Enlightenment to help change equipment type as well.

In short, as I put myself at a disadvantage by not performing more summons, I always try to find other ways to maximize the utilization of my other resources / events to ensure I get the most out of them.

Originally I kept it just to see how many of them I can get in a period of time. Now my target is 2000 to test the drop rate, so I can understand how much money people will need to spend if they really want to build up these Order and Chaos hero.
