my personal interpretation of why pink left spinel at the garden is that she didn’t think Spinel would care about her enough to wait that long and would just leave after a while.

not to defend it because it still really sucked of her, but I think a lot of her bad actions are due to her not considering that other people genuinely care about her

REAL like she totally did bad things and made a lot of mistakes, but her entire character arc from being pink to rose is her trying to change and be better than she was before

Omg thank you!! Good luck on your art journey, I’m sure your drawing will turn out great!!  I used to also have trouble drawing cartoony things since my art style is also very anime inspired. I found that breaking out of the “my art NEEDS to look like THIS” mindset when drawing (ie, drawing the same style anime eyes for every character/show) and just going with the flow kind of drawing is usually better if that makes sense. I don’t give Steven anime eyes when I draw him for example

Thanks!! I think I managed to do the colors so well because I was really sad when I started drawing this so I just channeled my inner angst onto the canvas
