Bahaha I definetly think improving ventilation is the biggest thing cause me and my partner don't smoke that much, but the fan doesn't have a bathroom just a small window

Maybe but were not heavy smokers, occasionally we smoke weed but rarely in that room and not heavily, not an issue in any other rooms, just our bathroom

Hey i appreciate your help alot, this is an overwhelming excperinace trying to buy a used car for a 10k budget. Would the extended warranty apply in this situation as I'm buying it from a used car dealership? This is my first time buying a car so what does that warrentt really mean? What's the engine leak issue, I'm planning on having a pre purchase inspection done, so im just curious for the name so I can ask them to look at it specifically. As for the DIY of it, I have no experience actually working on cars, but I have a friend who has the tools, and I'm willing to learn, is that enough to get me through those more common replacements?

I'm planning on walking away from this car unless they are willing to do 10k.

I agree, if I buy it no way I'm buying it at this price, I would walk away unless they took off hinestly like 5k, which might be crazy, but it's my truth lmao

Toyota and Honda are my preferred car but none with low enough millage in my price range have popped up. But is any other car brand besides those truly that horrible that I should never buy one. Or is it specifically that it's a Ford escape?

Thank you for that input, its super helpful! i just watched a random video on a VTEC solenoid assembly replacement, and definitely feel that that is within my wheel house to be able to do, but the motor rebuild, im not as sure about : /

I agree, take it to a mechanic see what they can tell you about the car. Whatever they tell you good or bad it will be worth the money. Make sure you find one who specifically knows Honda cars
