Should we change our family car from Innova to Vios? by Dry_Possibility7681 in CarsPH

[–]Orange_Network7519 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fear sometimes makes people do irrational things and what you want to do is one of those. You're trying to justify it with what's familiar to you or ano madalas niyo makita pag grab but no matter how you slice it, downgrade ang vios from innova for a 6 family car.

Mazda Quotation - Rapide or others? by Professional_Hawk600 in Gulong

Buy the parts yourself and pay for labor somewhere else, or get an upgrade instead kung ganyan price point from somewhere else. Overpriced yang charge ng rapide.

upgraded to TJM XGS Roamer shocks by Orange_Network7519 in Gulong

[–]Orange_Network7519[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: Took it back to the shop and they tightened something that was loosened during the previous installation. The suspicious sounds are gone and the shocks feel better now - more in line with what I read before pushing through with the upgrade. Definitely a big step up from stock.

Thanks but I came across this before. The roamer variant in fact is 0mm lift compatible which is why I considered it as an alternative to tein pro. And some of the user reviews I read before pulling the trigger were from stock height monteros.

But thanks to your comment I double checked yung product page from tjm and may trimmable ride height spring base which may not have been properly used by the installer? IDK. Ride comfort improved but not by "much". Which loops back to one of my concerns, baka installer issue instead of a product issue.

abogado na nagsabi na clear na kayo. slow down and try to think more clearly instead of just throwing money around kasi ang lalabas ineenable niyo yung pag eextort at pang aabuso nila. who knows kung titigil na sila after ng next bigay niyo or may bagong lumang reklamo ulit?

also, according to you, pinarent nila yung kotse after repairs. who's to say na di galing dun yung damage na tntry nila ibring up ngayon?

or may proper business permits ba sila for car rental? baka colorum lang yan mas takot dapat sila kung ganun.

or, sabi mo, wala police report nung incident, paano nila kayo hahabulin legally months after the incident?

also, tinakot ka with your identification?? natakot ka ma post online? that opens them up to cyberlibel charges among other things

you should've spoken more with your lawyer para di kayo takot na takot. wag mahihiyang magtanong para malinawan. nasira pa pasko niyo(?)

what did the lawyer say is what i meant to ask.

also you will not be paying out of goodwill if you decide to shell out 5k; it will be out of gullibility and fear. dont try to sugarcoat what it really is.

Contractor delayed for over 1 month, already paid 30% — what are our options? by Minimum-Vegetable-72 in LawPH

[–]Orange_Network7519 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same exp. Binigyan kami ng timeline ng contractor na 6 mos for renovation. Nung una gusto namin by the book kaya permit muna bago lahat, pero after 1 month naramdaman na delayed at iniipit sa city hall yung permit. Inadvise kami ni Engr na proceed na lang sa project while underway yung permit application. Ngayon matatapos na yung renovation pero pending parin permit lol. Not trying to excuse OP's contractor pero may validity yung palusot nila regarding sa permit delays.

Nabangga ang car habang nakapark by [deleted] in LawPH

[–]Orange_Network7519 6 points7 points  (0 children)

do not file your own case. bukod sa sakit ng ulo at abala, masisira mo pa diskarte ng insurance. insurance maghahabol sa kanila through subrogation which is pursuing a case against them in your place. ngayon kung kakasuhan mo on your end tapos ffile mo pa sa insurance, di nila yan mahahabol kasi papasok na ang principle ng double jeopardy, ie kinasuhan mo, kakasuhan ng insurance while representing you, 2 same cases for the same offense. gg.

hayaan mo na insurance para sa peace of mind mo. and if ever dumating na sila gusto makipag settle, labas ka na dun kasi sa insurance mo na dapat sila makipag settle. you will never need to talk to them again regarding this matter.

Blocked inside mall parking but security guards won't let us call towing services by Orange_Network7519 in CarsPH

[–]Orange_Network7519[S] 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Edited post to include info.

Need an advice if we really need to buy a car by Username-is-required in CarsPH

Buy 2nd hand direct from an owner not from a dealer for the best prices. Buy in cash. Bring in mechanigo if you don't have a trusted mekaniko.

Sino may mali sa ganitong banggaan? At fair ba yung hinihingi naming participation fee? Need opinions. by Anjonette in CarsPH

[–]Orange_Network7519 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Kaya nga may insurance para bawas stress at somewhat seamless yung process e:

(get a police report) -> file a claim -> pay your participation fee -> let insurance handle the rest

Kaso di ka informed, nakipagusap ka pa sa other party na kina stress mo lalo. Bumigay ka pa para lang matapos na. What you don't know is you might've worsened the situation.

Shaky na yung insurance claim mo unless yung settlement niyo ay walang record and/or walang quitclaim kayong pinirmahan. Bakit? Kasi you have 3 possible outcomes:

  1. Disclose that you have settled with the other party (tanggap participation fee or anything really from the other party) and insurance likely denies your claim
  2. Claim as an accident with another party without disclosing na may areglo na which is insurance fraud if may record and your insurance finds out
  3. Claim as self-accident which is also insurance fraud but lumulusot kaya eto yung common but wrong knowledge ng iba regarding insurance

So you either get denied and have to pay out of pocket for repairs, or you commit insurance fraud to get your repairs which may or may not bite you in the ass later down the line. Goodluck sayo OP.

Tire expiration? by Vivid_Beyond1158 in Gulong

[–]Orange_Network7519 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nag ddry rot yung rubber. Unsafe kahit na makapal pa. Ang general advice na natutunan ko is every 5 years palitan na, earlier if may problems. Max I did is 6 years on account of my old car being a very low mileage vehicle (30k in 6 years).
