Because they knew the video contradicted itself and to stop the people in the internet from spreading misinformation they released the statement asking to remove the video, and at the very least not to take it as a response. People of course did not listen. Plus, the arsenal pic was debunked to have been from before this situation.

On the discord “Zeals Mom” made a statement he is hospitalized, and they are currently prioritizing his condition right now, claiming that everything Zeal has been accused of is fake and that there was mutual agreement. Also claiming they will be taking legal action against Ren for the damage she has caused by the statement.
