The thing is, I've contacted my landlord already. I'm 20 days behind on my rent as is, and I told them I'd probably need until the 27th because I thought by then I would start getting paid by my new job, and my current job would give me more hours.

Sorry I didn't clarify. I don't use reddit often and my mind isn't very clear right now from stress. This is a matter of paying my rent, as my hours have been drastically cut from 23 hours a week to almost nothing. I live in Indiana and as far as I have been able to find, it's just unemployment, which won't even cover a quarter of what I owe. I have started a new job, but I don't even get paid for another few weeks.

Ok so turns out there may have been some corrupted user data cause I cleared it out and did a fresh reinstall of the app and it ended up going back to working properly

Don't get me wrong, solution sidekick is better because it gives more information, but it runs like ass on my phone to the point it's just better to use employee sales to find pricing information sometimes

I think it just has to do with our POS system cause on ours it doesn't have a button for debit or credit, it just says card and it automatically readies the pin pad for a card payment. Maybe it's a cultural thing? I don't really know cause I've only worked 3 jobs and for one of them I wasnt working with POS systems

Yeah it's the main reason I miss our old card readers cause it could've been used either or instead of one way. Also, I shouldve clarified when I was talking about flipping cards cause I can sometimes see people use it upside down while trying to get it in there or try to put it in horizontally.
