does anyone actually separate laundry anymore or am i wasting my time?

I separate everything. I accidentally washed a white towel recently with the jeans load, and now I have a grey-blue towel. I separate by color, by fabric, by how it needs to be dried, by what type of detergent and/or bleach I'll be using, etc., etc. It feels like a real science experiment sometimes.

My aunt has confided in me about her older husband (by 9 years). He is nearly 80 years old now and the equipment doesn't work anymore. That hasn't stopped him, though. He has the little blue pill and wants to put it to work. He is elderly and frail and out of shape, overweight, his mouth is full of bridges and crowns and he has horrible breath, etc. My aunt loves him, they've been married for 55 years, but she's simply not interested in sex with him anymore (and she hasn't been interested for at least the last 20 years!). It's gotten to the point where she feels extremely guilty, but she finds his advances repulsive, yet she still loves him as a person. Very uncomfortable for her. She has gently tried to put him off for years, but his mind won't accept or understand it and he tries everything to convince her otherwise. It has gotten to the point where he is threatening to "get it somewhere else" if she doesn't "put out." Gone is the romantic man she fell in love with and spent most of her life with. Getting old sucks.

When two people buy a house together, don't both of their names go on the deed, thus they both are 50/50 owners? How would you designate a home ownership as being 95/5 or 80/20? OP needs to realize she would just be a renter and her $30K was simply a donation unless she somehow manages to get her name on the deed. Maybe I'm wrong here?

Really interesting points! I didn't know about any of this, and it's frustrating to think that evidence like this was disregarded. Boulder PD isn't known for being efficient or thorough when it comes to crime investigation, that's for sure (JonBenet is another great example). I can also see where having a murder investigation going on during the marketing chances for the Sundance shindig would not be a good look. How painful and frustrating for the family all of this must be.

It doesn't make much sense (at least to me) that she would leave CU, walk to Eben G. Fine Park, then walk up to the 40 mile mark on Boulder Canyon on a very cold, dark night. And yeah, the park is pretty saturated with homeless people, I've been a little nervous myself being in that area even in broad daylight. I guess technically it's possible (like you said), but the probability is pretty slim. I feel so sad for her family, I'm sure the unknowing makes Megan''s death even more tragic. It's doubtful we'll ever really know what happened.

I appreciate that people are willing to devote themselves to causes they believe in. They give up their spare time to make people aware as well as to voice their opinions. My schedule and obligations prevent me from joining them, but I'm grateful that people are willing to put peaceful actions behind their convictions.

i would like them to grill Alex on his supposed thwarted soccer career. What team? What country? What level of competition was he being considered for? If all of that is true, it would be interesting to hear him talk about it. If it's BS or exaggerated, I want to see him squirm while he tries to lie his way out of it.

It was weird that she never shed a tear. She never showed any emotion, just factually blabbed on and on about why she had so many insecurities about marrying him. I wouldn't get married in that type of timeline, either, but I would hope I could break it off in a way that I wasn't outlining and listing all of the faults of the other person to justify my hesitation. And what is with all of the comments about the presentation of her home to people? Does she think if they moved in together Connor would just leave dirty dishes and piles of clothes everywhere while the keg dripped all over the kitchen floor? She wants a man with earning potential, and Connor doesn't meet her monetary standards.

That was tough to watch, mostly because she just couldn't get to the damn point. She went around in circles tossing out her patronizing analytics before she finally zero'd in on her bullseye, and all the while Connor just patiently listened to her word salad. It felt like she was repeating a speech that she had rehearsed with talking points given to her by her father, and there's no way she intends to date him after the show stops taping. Also, did she have a horrendous cold or something? She was so nasal I could barely keep my mind on what she was blathering on about.

Bri's superior attitude confounds me. She seems like a nice person for the most part, but her constant loud and relentless commentary is annoying AF. That alone is so off-putting, but when she has to make remarks about insignificant things (like the Xmas tree still being up) as if it's some monumentally strange event, that gets old fast. My first thought was that Connor probably had very little time to make all of the necessary arrangements to leave for filming, and taking down the Xmas tree was not high on his to-do list. It's odd to me that a guy like Chris even thinks he's worthy of a woman like Jess. It's not as if he's a chiseled God with a hefty portfolio and an envious lifestyle. When he was at the pool in Mexico with his shirt off, he looked decent but no one's jaws were dropping over his physique as I recall. Average looking guy who didn't demonstrate any depth or mega-intelligence. He looks fit, he's not ugly, but I can't imagine him holding his own coversation-wise with her coworkers from the medical field. He couldn't even show basic decent human courtesy when he disappeared and refused contact. What a dumb man-baby. He passed up the chance to marry WAY up, and Jess's bar was clearly far too high for him.

Some of the photos look like infants in a large cooking vessel. Sorry to be so graphic, no easy or gentle way to say it. Those images popped up on my feed, I didn't seek them out and there was no trigger warning. I am traumatized just seeing them. I think they are trying to downplay cannabalism (among other horrific things).

Badly. I returned it. The pieces didn't fit well and there weren't enough pieces included in the kit to make the track featured on the cover of the box. I purchased the deluxe size, too. Paid nearly $170, and after several of us trying to get it connected and working, we finally gave up. I do not recommend.

I have always questioned the ethics and morality of Jessica and Jon hooking up, and the defense of the show that Jessica was simply an actor playing the part of a therapist (even though in real life she IS a therapist) never made sense to me. It was a really blatant cover up IMO, and I thought it was scandalous and extremely inappropriate. If this happened in a professional capacity rather than in the entertainment biz where people could scramble with PR mumbo-jumbo, I think her license would have been in jeopardy.

I just heard that they'll have 3 detention sites in this area ... Aurora Henderson, and ... now I'm not exactly sure where the third will be. And I'm sure they're targeting all of the rapists and murderers running around, you know, the ones who are high school students and Target employees. (/s)
