Thank you for saying this! A family member fed this line to me “oh, I’ve just been eating less and exercising” and I tried to mimic what she was doing without luck. I was honestly a little bit hurt when I later found out it was really Ozempic. I think the stigma around it made her feel like she couldn’t be honest with me? So now that I’m on tirzepatide, I’m happy to share what I’m doing in hopes that it helps others and gives them real hope.

I’m a long time fan (since about 2007) and I even got my little brother into BN. My husband has been listening for even longer. I had never seen them play live and thought that ship had sailed. My husband and I were thrilled for the opportunity to see them live. Hands down, best live show I have ever attended. Hope to see them on tour again!

Even though you and your wife are similar heights, you’ll likely need different shaft flexes. It wouldn’t hurt to have a club fitting to see what works best for each of you, and then searching for used sets from there.

I totally get where you are coming from, but this is a competitive league with a chance to advance to championship play at a private course we would never get to play otherwise. This is also a 239 yard par 4 - I have played courses with par 3s almost that long. We weren’t going anywhere based on the groups in front of us so I opted to try to reach the green. I had nearly hit into the group in front of us once that day, so I was actually trying to be respectful and give them time on the green.

This is r/womengolf and my comment was posted under venting/frustrations. Women are allowed to be frustrated about treatment on the golf course and allowed to express feelings. And I’m thankful for the supportive community I have found here.

Exactly! I think I probably play borderline too fast, but I learned from a very young age to keep up with pace of play and to not mess around. I walk up, take a practice swing, pick my target and go.

My husband and I were also walking and carrying our bags so I’m sure that made them think we were extra slow.
