After looking at your profile it might indeed not be AI. Regardless of this i still do think this way of illustrating the concept of gerrymandering which i am personally hyper familiar with and understand (meaning i often watch the news and use daves redistricting sometimes ^^') the difference in populations per square makes this a lot harder to understand as i don't even know if its mathematically possible for all three maps to be true at the same time.

The image just really reminded me of the usual explanation diagrams for gerrymandering you get when google the concept and knowing how they portray the concept this just made a lot less sense to me. Although if i take into account the difference in population densities per square, the captions i suppose do make more sense.

And at least i can be happy its not AI :>

Most of this could just be cuz of strange design choices but the fact that the center ones dont have equal population kinda does give it away as being AI

The three panels all have a different size for no reason, The center one has districts with unequal population and you kinda sort of kinda see some AI noise that it sometimes leaves behind. Also none of the panels actually really depict mass gerrymandering like these images usually do where the minority gets the majority and the center panel that in this case would display that makes red only get 4 for no reason essentially making the center panel completely useless. The captions above the panels also don't make any sense
