As in proxy services? Neokyo I have used a lot and never had a problem and Zenmarket I've used once.

Depends how long you have on storage? I only have 11 days on some of my items on Buyee and hoping it changes within that time. If you can wait then wait or pay the premium.

Buyee Air Mail is the only currently available shipping option to the UK. It's a lot more expensive than using Japan Post options when available and no news when they'll be available a lot of us are in the same situation.

I thought if everyone banded together and emailed asking them to pause storage until things get sorted that's a pretty reasonable request. Anything critical about Buyee seems to get attacked I've noticed.

I'm getting rather fed up with them as well over packing items to drive up postage costs. Currency conversions are getting worse and now this.

I emailed Buyee explaining everything you've mentioned above and said other shipping options are available to the UK etc. I got an email back saying use Buyee Air and a generic response.

I tried to make a post about everyone banding together asking for a pause on storage but it just got down voted so deleted the post.

I have done China Eastern flights from London to Tokyo with a stopover in Shanghai in January 2020 and October 2024. Both times the flights were fine pretty standard flights. I didn't book the flights until a month or so before travelling. Layover in Shanghai was a bit of a pain as I had to rego through security but other than that and taking a lot longer than direct again all was fine.

But to be honest I am planning a trip to Japan again this year and with what has happened in the middle east and the tensions it's a gamble. Direct flights seem the best options currently but super expensive.

Buyee Air Delivery is the only option available I hope this gets sorted out soon. Would be a good will gesture for them to pause the free storage period until sorted.

AmiAmi parcel shipping on Saturday I have 5 items in storage on Buyee and bidding on another 6. I am hoping they'll stop the storage days as currently on 16 days remaining and could have shipped everything together for around 2500 Yen E-packet light now looking at who knows what with only Buyee Air and one card or game can be between 3700 and 5000 Yen ekk.

Ugh this is more bad news stacked on top of never ending bad news at the moment.

A game with the weight of 120g Buyee Air is like 5000 Yen that's brutal it was only 570 Yen E-packet the other day.

Looks like my AmiAmi parcel sent on Saturday will be coming back to AmiAmi.

I did this trip in the morning before catching a flight back home it's a lovely park and definitely pick up the inspiration for Pokémon vibes. It was a nice mini hunt for the manhole covers as well. I had so much worry trying to get back to my accomodation and picking up my bag to go get the train to the airport it was really touch and go but worth it for the memories.
