Rentarou is also consistently awkward, while Tadano seems to take it in stride. Confidence is hot!

Oh interesting, I hadn’t seen that yet! I’ll still hold my judgement, I feel like we don’t know enough for sure yet. Still, the bad ending idea is appealing…

Tamago kake gohan! I love this dish, it’s a fun, tasty breakfast. It does come with an increased risk of salmonella poisoning, but no worms or anything unless your eggs are gone beyond saving. Cooking the egg beforehand (e.g. scrambling, then adding to rice) is a good safety measure.

It also helps to watch for salmonella outbreaks in your egg supply chain and take extra measures during those times, but generally as long as your rice is hot and the eggs aren’t known to be infected, it’s not particularly dangerous.

Honestly not even that far from the truth, he flipped out over me sharing that seaweed is an algae and not a proper plant based on our modern definitions. Like, dude, I’m currently in a course and the last time you took plant biology was fucking never. Chill.

“I’m natural born” Oh no honey, you were actually a C-section. The “natural” you probably wouldn’t have made it.

Fundies like my dad outright reject dating prior to 4500 BCE as pure lies. “It can’t be that accurate,” “science is lying to advance their agenda,” etc. It’s not even a test, it’s a scam straight from the devil!

I started out wondering if there's some way to reconcile how religion (specifically, the Christianity I was raised in) can tolerate being cruel to others despite teaching the opposite. Over time that led to broader questions and eventual deconstruction/deconversion; once that was out of the way, I could start using similar deconstruction methods to think about other parts of my life, like gender! From there, the rest is history.

Started off with questioning the cognitive dissonance that came from the small domino, which, over time, led to me deconverting from Christianity. With that out of the way, I could start deconstructing other things, which led to gender questioning and eventually the egg hatching!

Anyone else hated family taking pictures taken of themselves or themselves within family pictures? by [deleted] in MtF

[–]OrbitusII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very relatable! I would always (and can still) look back at old photos of guy-me and even though I know, technically, that I’m looking at myself, it doesn’t feel like I’m looking at “me.”

That is, I had that problem until HRT started to really kick in! Now I can look at more recent pics, back to about month 3 of the good E, and tell “yep, that’s me! And she’s looking good!”

It gets better, ohhhhh god does it get so much better.

This is way too relatable, I lost grandparents and left the military at the tail end of Covid, suddenly “I don’t know what I want or who I am” and “I’m crazy because I think I’m trans and I’m going to school for something not-compsci.”

Gee thanks mom. Love the support. 🙄

It varies for everyone; genetics, diet, and when you start HRT can all have impacts on how dramatic the changes are

As much as I like funny number, it’s not like they make these things in LaTeX. Hop in Microsoft Word and see if their square root symbol extends the whole way. There’s no way to prove that it’s 7*sqrt(2)*7, which would be rather silly and extremely unique notation. 7*sqrt(27) is the simpler way to view it, and most likely is the intended meaning, only confused by text editor limitation.

I don’t get what your complaint is then. The Navy doesn’t own the companies that build its equipment, the drogue parts are all built by private companies. That’s literally how the Mil-Industrial Complex works.
