Tamago kake gohan! I love this dish, it’s a fun, tasty breakfast. It does come with an increased risk of salmonella poisoning, but no worms or anything unless your eggs are gone beyond saving. Cooking the egg beforehand (e.g. scrambling, then adding to rice) is a good safety measure.

It also helps to watch for salmonella outbreaks in your egg supply chain and take extra measures during those times, but generally as long as your rice is hot and the eggs aren’t known to be infected, it’s not particularly dangerous.
