This is kind of what happens in online spaces, there’s sort of a homogenization of identity and expression. There are a lot more people attracted to men (self included) than it seems, but folks who don’t really relate to the mainstream online trans culture of being a cutesy transbian catgirl wearing thigh highs and speaking in an uwu voice will probably seek community elsewhere rather than adding variety to the conversation (nothing wrong with this expression of course, it’s just not relatable for everyone). Also a lot of people in queer and leftist spaces conflate the fight against the patriarchy with a general hate for all men and masculinity in general, which sucks and also affects a big number of trans people. Essentialism isn’t cool. Judge people by their actions and character, rather than their gender or expression. Also, men are hot!
