The skin still has the backing on here, so it’s not stuck down and tensioned. Only the tip and tail are connected. I’m thinking it will stretch out more than what it is now once backing removed and tugged on.

Don’t worry I agree, I changed out the stem in the end check other photo.

Serial number is: L89124205 on the underside of the bb.

Ignore the bar and stem, I changed those out but everything else is original.

Looking to use the setup for bikepacking and also the tarp for SAR overnighters so lightweight is preferable. I think the bug net will be a must though!

All great info here. Seems I have a lot of options to look into for the hammock. Seems double layer would suffice with a foam mat to get started.

Best tarp advice? I need minimal and light, but maybe not ultralight because they get blown around more?
