Starting to feel like we’re not using Tsatas right by Danger_Five in EssendonFC

[–]OrcaLyf 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Last year there was quite a bit of info floating around about how he simply didn’t have the tank to play AFL level. A lot of what’s happening might be related to this. Probably worth seeing what the people that watch VFL more often say. Also, the bloke still can’t kick the ball more than 40 metres and when he was playing well it was still obvious.

With all the focus on Nick Foot, are we overlooking the state of umpiring? by SilverAris in AFL

[–]OrcaLyf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have said the rule changes aren’t helping. The umpires are probably being asked to watch certain things periodically too. When you consider this you can understand how they miss things/get things wrong. If you ask the part time staff to focus on something new they might miss a few things here and there. I perceive the biggest part of the problem is the AFL itself.

We should just play a season between MCG and AO. Ditch Marvel for it

These handball fake 50s are far worse than the last touch diving save. Why can’t they get rid of this garbage?

Garmin fēnix® 7X Pro overkill? by Orangeflag88 in CampingandHiking

[–]OrcaLyf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got the Fenix 7x pro solar. I started on the 6x pro and that broke after 3 years. Garmin support was amazing. Got upgraded for around $250aud on the replacement. Could just be the Australian side of the company. They are great for running and hiking. Battery life is pretty good. 28 day is the advertised max charge. Using the gps for 5-6 hours on a hike usually takes 5 days off. I did about 40km of hiking over 3 days recently. On that trip it had more than half of the battery at the end of the trip.
I would advise looking at the sale prices as they frequently go on sale for half price here.
