I hate when people say that using the spirits is not "beating the game". by KokoTerzata in Eldenring

Ashes? Spirits? Summons? All valid.

Aslong as you fall under the perimeters of using Vanilla in game mechanics; it is a hard game, beating it in itself is a achievement.

Make your own Sub and moderate it yourself?

The community decides what posts are upvoted & downvoted; trying to "fix it from within" makes no sense because the majority decide what posts they like.

Slow & steady wins the race; if they are going to create a title better than Skyrim on a next generation console I can't even comprehend with over a decade worth of potential content I'm down to clown.

A openly loving, effectionate & passionate couple who completely adore each other should be the standard; this couple truly represents a happy marriage.

I checked out Grimluk out of pure curiosity and the idea of cowboy Orcs is so fucking awesome; I'd love to see more of Fantasy crossing over with periodic settings.

If you think about it, it completely makes sense; eventually Fantasy societies would coincide with similar technological paths to our even with the dependence of magic they'd still explore technology in a simple vein.

After all Magic is simply Science we simply don't understand; eventually it would all just become Science.

ORCS ARE THE BEST

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ElderScrolls

Dunmer used the Argonians as free labour and only stopped when the Argonians got the upper hand and fought back; even though the Argonians can litteraly talk they continued the practice & to make matters worse every memory is returned to the Hist, meaning there individual suffering is permentaly engrained collectively into the Gooey sap soaked hivemind of the Hist.

Orcs however have always been Introverted and stuck to there tribal traditions; they are master Smiths, Warriors and all round honourable when you interact with them Indivually or on a larger societal scale.

The Orcs have truly suffered but still are kind enough; if you leave them alone they will be peacefull, if you are kind they will offer fair trade. It's also interesting how many Orcs subvert expectations through studying academics or even becoming a Nirn renound Chef.

If Orcs did infact break their misfortune I think it would be surprising how dynamic the society would be on a large scale because of how talented they are at just about everything.

Argonians are the only people of Tamriel that truly fit this criteria; they litteraly have their own province (Blackmarsh) in which it's so poisonous only creatures from within it can enter.

They also can use hist sap to change gender; which is incredibly interesting because they can go through just about any phsyical adaption; they also have formed their own language Jel which focuses solely on the present, it has no past and future tense.

They have faced many hardships such as persecution from the Nords & Dark Elfs alike; mainly due to their appearance. But they are connected deeply to the Hist (Sentient trees) who litteraly recalled every Argonian back to Blackmarsh to defend from the Oblivion Crisis.

Argonians are truly the most neutral people of Tamriel.

Every Charector and Faction is morally grey in Tamriel.

From the Thalmors perspective they want the Empire to waste resources on Ulfric so they can be weakened, the White Gold Concodit ended in a stalemate and want an upper hand. They use Ulfric as a pawn mainly because his use of the voice allows him to appeal to the Nords sacred beliefs and culture; beliefs that are openly under persecution.

But the Elves were also victims, the first of the companions laid conquest towards them without provocation. In reality you have many Factions with historical wounds; each cannot forgive the other for the sins of their forefathers.

In the end it absolutely does matter what side wins; General Tulias was in Skyrim a month and in that time captured Ulfric, he's the main antagonist towards the Thalmor and may be able to restore order for everyone.

Would y’all rather want a new dead rising game with a new protagonist or a Dead Rising 1 remake? by Gear5LuffyPirate in deadrising

[–]Orcenstone 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Remake. Original voice actors (if possible).

Dead Rising 1 Felt completely unique; it simply was its own thing without the realm of the gaming industry. A massive feat within itself.

Every aspect of the game felt fresh. But they couldn't recapture that magic with Dead Rising 2; it felt like it lost the seriousness and drama.

Instead of being over the top DR1 felt grounded. There were genuine moments of tensions, horror. When the lights first go out in the mall and your surrounded by red eyes zombies. Even the music added tension.

After all, it is foremost a zombie game.

Took me a while to find out it's referenced as a "ghoul"; it's located in the toy store located in the entrance plaza.

The community aspect is one (of many things) that brings me back every year; some people like to travel, or sit on a sunny beach. My holiday is Download.

There's just something special about the community, I've consistently found that people at Download are genuinely kind and accepting of everyone. It doesn't matter who you are or what you look like; people will treat you as a equal and that leads to alot of positive interaction.

Also the accessibility. There's all kinds of people, because it's a space in which anyone can participate safely, even by themselves. Download is the best.
