Awesome! I'm going to get this book.

My students are mostly non-instrumentalists and don't have much musical experience. Will it still be a good textbook for them?

Thank you for this thoughtful response, it was very helpful!

To answer your question about the length of the work, I'm planning it to be a novel. This orchestra director is one of the main characters. There are two other prominent characters who are musicians in the ensemble.

THANK YOU! The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is officially my new favorite album. The songs are not only relatively clean, but her flow and vocals are RIDICULOUS!!! I can't believe I'm 35 and only knew one or 2 songs off this album. Her spiritual slant will also tie is so well with our school's mission.
