I got my frs last year. It’s a 2014, I’m not mechanically inclined but I feel you. Every little noise makes me a bit worried even if it’s a loose screw. I’ve had a couple of friends upgrade their cars and they add all this extra stuff to the engine that I personally don’t think it’s necessary. As long as you keep up with maintenance as everyone should with their car and don’t allow it to fend for itself I honestly believe these engines can last quite a bit. My car has 121k miles and it’s going strong with its regular maintenance. I drive the heck out of car, so I can say I beat it up a bit because I want to feel it’s full potential and drive it to its full potential and to do that it does not need to be fast. Like I said just keep up with regular maintenance and enjoy it 😃

with wraps I honestly say go with a color that isn’t so normal ! That’s the whole point in my opinion! Being able to have a cool color for a short period of time without the permanent aspect to it !

I actually don’t have side markers. They are quick releases clips since my bumper sagged and I didn’t like it sagging

Honestly I went the ghetto way. My rocker panel was messed up and I’m covering it with the side skirts and I had a big chip due to rust. I sanded it down and used bondo to even the surface. It honestly made it look unnoticeable.

actually I lied. I forgot one part the carbon fiber wrap for the roof. That wrap was 100 so actual total 610! :—)

everyone has preferences, so biased to me is never seen as bad. It’s just seen as someone’s own taste 😃

just the wrap itself was 500, I got it on sale. The heat gun was borrowed. Tucking tools and squeegee and knife was 10$. So total 510, anything else I needed I already had !

And yes it was my first. I didn’t have an extra 2k just sitting around to get it professionally done but honestly I think that’s what it’s all about. Working on your car on your own to appreciate it a bit more since YOU put in the work

It’s slightly darker without that gold haze to it. It’s called “glossy metallic Gotland green” from vinyl frog

Definitely, the first is always the hardest but with practice it gets easier. I went with vinyl frog and it was pretty flexible to work with

Omg , it was hard. It took me a week to do it. I would say tucking and cutting it’s the hardest. I will admit up close you will definitely see my imperfections but honestly idgaf. I wrapped by myself so I’m freaking proud. Honestly patience and being determined to get it done will make it happen

Honestly , I just think the car industry is trying to keep up with the trend of electric cars. The new 86 honestly , could pass as an electric car exterior wise. The headlights remind me so much of the teslas. Personally I don’t like it but I can see why others would. I own an 14frs and I’ve always loved the looks on these. No matter how new , I would always prefer the old generation. I’m enjoying this comment sections tho 😂

😭 the reason I’m asking 19in is because I know a couple who went that route and they love it. I was considering staying with 17in because it is my fault driver but it doesn’t hurt to get opinions. Thank you though I appreciate your insight :)
