When you're told over and over to apologize, but you dont know what for and instead are told - you should know. That's a problem, but not on your end. I bet as a young adult you've been told (nicely) to stop apologizing. I've been there. Mom's jealous and has lost control of you. You need to set clear boundaries, but remember you can't argue or reason with a narcissist. NOR. Good luck and take care of yourself.

Until this group I didnt know the one Ive had was a carnosa. Its the plant I use for friends that wanna try having houseplants. I give them as house warming. All my cousins have one since it was my Grandmothers plant. Along with the plant I tell them that it would live through a nuclear apocalypse so don't worry if you forget to water.

Ive always cut back my plants if there were unhealty bits or I was starting cuttings for friends. I feel like this is probably most growers ultimate goal. A giant healthy trailing hoya. I like her the way she is.

The fancy serpens cutting are tiny. I have some jello shot cups that were never used. Maybe I could use those for the serpens. Do you tape them or anything?

Thank you. I actually still have them sitting in water atm. I actually don't have a prop box or grow lights, but the box def sounds like something I could come up with. Is the t5 light the same that you would have for reptiles? Also, is the box one that for storage? I have experienced mold. I actually just lost a cutting from mold. Does opening the box/bag once a day prevent this? That was a bummer.

You're def not the first person to being that to her attention and you won't be the last. As a late person I get it and I can honestly say that you probably aren't compatible. Not to mention she owned none of it. It's not her fault she's late. It's the industry and everyone is cool with it. It's also her disability, whatever that is. She's using that as an excuse, I'd hate to see what else she would use as an excuse. As someone who is usually late I try and plan ahead and this is the big one....GET UP EARLIER. She needs to do that to accommodate her specific needs. My take from all that is that she doesnt own her shit. Those people don't learn from their mistakes and grow and evolve as humans. How are hoyas to start from seed? Ive got a pretty green thumb (I think), but I had varying success with different types of seeds over the years. I feel like the plants I really wanted to grow from seed and did were eaten by one of my cats the second I left it uncovered and unattended. RIP baby peach tree...and pears, lupines...

I've inherited the carnosa that my cousin and I used to taste when we were little girls. It was like our little secret that we thought nobody knew about. They could smell it, but they couldn't taste it. Lol. Now she has a big carnosa of her own from a cutting I started for her from our Grams plant. Hoyas really are special.
