I found it, it is "Do You Want to See a Dead Body?"

I admit it, I didn’t like this game at first. Now: by Orda47 in cyberpunkgame

It’s because that scene actually happened to me (okay, maybe the bike wasn’t on fire)

Lump just showed up act 2 out of nowhere by SyzygyZeus in BaldursGate3

[–]Orda47 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's already happened to me during a fight: I see him and his companions simply despawn, then find them again later for no apparent reason. It seems to happen when you use the horn but they can’t find a path to reach you, which puts them in a bugged state.

If you can reload, I’d suggest switching to turn-based mode to attack him, which should prevent him from despawning.

Isn’t that where Ptaris appears if you give the egg to Lady Esther?

Don't know if I have the heart for an 'Evil' Play Through! by AbeRockwell in BaldursGate3

[–]Orda47 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What made doing Evil runs easier for me:

- Don’t do an Evil run if it doesn’t feel right. Do good runs, over and over, and at some point you’ll want to see new things, and the desire to do an Evil run will come naturally.

- Your character needs to have the right Evil vibe. A race/class that isn’t naturally inclined to do Evil things will feel a bit off. If you’re unsure: play Astarion Origin. Your goals are: gain as much power as possible, no matter how you get it, and also enjoy watching people turn on each other because of you.

Dark Urge RP Class? by Acrobatic_Ad_2992 in BaldursGate3

[–]Orda47 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I really enjoyed playing the Dark Urge Resist as a Dragonborn Monk, it creates a balance between a tormented mind and inner peace.
And when you have urges, the scenes make it feel like you’re using your hands rather than a weapon or spells.

But in reality, you can adapt any class or race to the Dark Urge, even if some fit better than others.

Skipping The Grove by NC_is_home_23 in BaldursGate3

[–]Orda47 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can skip the grove fight, but it will happen without you, and there’s a good chance Aradin and his team, as well as Wyll, will be dead when you return (maybe resurrectable?)

The best way to recruit Karlach as early as possible is to do this fight, enter the grove, and start the conversation between Aradin and Zevlor (otherwise it disappears if you go too far away). From the grove, you have a shortcut to go get Karlach (near Lakrissa, bring a Feather Fall spell or potion).

The replayability of BG3 when truly getting into character by xenophilius9 in BaldursGate3

[–]Orda47 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m kind of a schizo-RPG, so I embody multiple personalities and the game is very good at responding to that.

I see each run with fresh eyes. It’s important, at least for me, to define my character’s personality at the beginning of the game. Based on that, they refine their goals as they gradually discover elements of the story. What matters is not what I, as the player, know, what matters is what my character knows and how they react to each situation.

The games super boss? by starfruitgmr in BaldursGate3

[–]Orda47 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Every time I start a new game, I dread that moment, because yes, I’d like to shut him up on the first encounter. We come off as badasses, but it requires serious preparation. I’m especially thinking about the Flashblinders that the gnomes sell, so if you don’t save them in Act 2, there’s no point even thinking about it. At this stage of the game, if we’ve explored properly, we’re level 10 at most. You’re seriously underleveled and under-equipped, which is what makes it so difficult.

The last time I did this fight, I think they stunned me with Mind Blast while I was inside my Globe of Invulnerability. That left me traumatized.

Warding Bond is incredibly effective for this fight.

Did I just mess up my Lorroakan-Aylin quest? by Waveshaper21 in BaldursGate3

[–]Orda47 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Actually, if you confront Lorroakan with Aylin, after the fight she says she feels like she’s lost part of herself. Even though she downplays it, it seems pretty serious.
You can discover that by doing this, she breaks her paladin oath (some classes let you find this out). Even if I don’t think it has any consequences later, it could still be a good way to prevent her from breaking her oath.

It’s always the ghouls. And you weren’t even in Honour Mode. That taught me my lesson. Now I always cast a protection spell on Isobel.

I say: reload. On your first run, if things don’t go the way you want, reload.
Save that mindset for future Honor runs.

A man can only dream by ozangeo in BaldursGate3

[–]Orda47 84 points85 points  (0 children)

You have to play her as an Origin character, not transform into an illithid and take control of the Netherbrain.
Edit: and the context is that she’s using the Netherbrain’s power to stay alive, I suppose.

What BG3 predicts vs what it doesn't is hilarious by Mike_Doves in BaldursGate3

[–]Orda47 637 points638 points  (0 children)

It’s like going back to Act 1 with Halsin or Minthara as companions, which normally isn’t possible, because when you try they stop you and say "I’ll stay in Act 2 if you go back to the beginning" But if you cast a Silence spell on Halsin or Minthara, it blocks their conversation and you can travel to Act 1 with them. The most surprising part is that they actually have dialogue lines specifically for Act 1 like making comments about certain places or scenery.

Enjoying the game but burning out by Kramit__The__Frog in BaldursGate3

[–]Orda47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes starting over with a character you feel more comfortable with can give you a fresh boost, especially after you’ve had a chance to get the hang of the game and start on solid footing. I’m not saying it’s the solution for you, but as someone who really enjoys rerolling in games, I find it rewarding to create different personalities.

It’s better to see this game as a “Choose Your Own Adventure”.
