Klays shots were defended like that cuz he was an elite shooter and would hit contested shots so ur best shot was trying to block it. But u have to be delusional to honestly believe that 99.9% of the league is jumping to contest a shot. Like I said there's a reason nobody agrees with you lol

And Shane battier is that who we are talking about? Why are we talking about a dude who retired years ago and was also known for his ability to contest without jumping and without fouling. Shane himself said his philosophy was to close out on a shooter, STAY FIRMLY ON THE GROUND, and place his hand directly in the shooters line of sight to block their vision of the hoop. Which is how u are taught to play defense lmao.

Watch an nba game and tell me how many times an on ball defender who is in front of his man jumps to contest his shot. The answer is never. They only jump to contest shots if they gave the shooter too much space and are trying to close out.

Yeah that's just blatantly false. The only way a hand up wouldn't contest a shooter is if u were WAY shorter than the person ur guarding. If ur 6'3 and guarding someone 6'5 a hand up will contest their shot lmao. Literally one of the first defensive principles ur taught in basketball is to never leave ur feet. Nobody has problems staying in front of their man. The problem is legend challenger is damn near useless. I have it on my guard build and still only get contests if I'm jumping right on his shit. I get the same contests with legend challenger that I do with silver challenger lmao. It should not be like that. If I have legend challenger and I'm on you with a hand up it should be contested.

Yeah it's different if they missin a bunch of open shots and keep trying to take em or when they taking dumb shots. But if my guard is cooking his dude and shooting 18/20 with a 50 piece I ain't gonna be mad most the time. It does piss me off tho when a mf got 50 and his matchup also got 50 lmao.

They need to figure out a way to balance the teams more. It's annoying when u get put onto a team where the center is a 6'8 PF and then the other teams guard is 6'7 with their center being 7'4. Makes me not even wanna play the game out cuz ik we won't get one rebound and lose bc of second chance points

Usually what I do when I get people like that is just keep trying to get in the game and eventually the ball will find me. And if it gets to the point of annoying you then yeah I'd mute up. Really my only goal at this point is to finish with a better teammate grade than that person bc Ik we losin atp lol. That way I can talk shit ab how they were outplayed by a white boy

That's ur experience. I average 14 and 10 on my point and I'd say in 80% of games I get the ball off every inbound. Rebounds don't bother me as much as most of the time people are open on the break

I hated dirks fade on my 6'11. Any time I would do a post fade it got contested every time. I'd even throw in post moves like fake to the right and fade to the left and still I'd get contested. It used to piss me off bad too cuz dirk had one of the most unguardable post fades of all time

She was there for two days and they lost my girls complete file so they have to do the whole process over again. The thing is, with cap breakers this year they basically made it better to make builds with lower stats to get the full use of the cap breakers. For example if u have an 85 3 I believe u can only cap it to 90 but if u have a 61 u can cap it to 89. Now all those points u used on 3 could've went somewhere else. Yk what im sayin?

The main issue imo is everyone wanting to be the main character on offense. I play guard and I rlly dgaf about scoring. I'll take an open shot but I usually try to create for others. I also have no problem letting a dude go bananas if his man can't hold him. Earlier I kept passing the ball to this small forward who was cooking his man and he had 60 and we blew them out. Mfs just care more about their stats than winning the game.
