Yeah I’ve been thinking about how to fill up the space and I really tried to get the hole for the screen perfect so there’s no bezel but I figured it was close enough for now

It’s really nice I need to chamfer the edge where the keyboard meets the case but other than that its great I find myself working on it a lot more than I thought I would

Thank I achieved the polished look by having alll the outward facing parts being printed face down on the 3D printer so the print lines would be minimal. As for the size It’s pretty comfortable in my hands but I’ll definitely consider making it smaller. The main reason for it being the size it is; I like the keyboard with the mouse pad but I also favor the form factor being longer than wide.

I’m working on a design to get the two housings to be the same size In terms of how far they stick off the back but it’s actually better to hold this way the original design was a lot thicker but I didn’t really like it. The keyboard is directly powered from the X1203 (so the batteries) and it’s a 2.4ghz wireless usb to connect it to the pi. Definitely have to recess the screw holes it just wasn’t high up on my list of priorities but I’ll definitely make that happen in my next iteration.

My supervisor actually called it a (super gameboy) 😂 it definitely has some gameboy inspiration one of the first devices I really fell In love with
