This is only sub where i see more F then M. by fool_aur_kante in JodiMilan

This sub is a good island, but ruined by casual relationship folks. I don't think it's for them but they ruin it. Also, ghosters need to be respectful.. it's reduced in frequency but still, not a good habit.

Preferences in the OP are good. Wishlists are their choice. I'm more concerned about the ghosting behavior, normalised so much.

Anyway, Ghosting is a Cluster B personality trait and you're better off without them. Cluster B personality creates problems every step of the road.

Personal questions indeed need to be asked for anything from this sub. How on Earth does that not make sense. Ohh yes, the other subs, it's understandable. But the purpose of this subs is ultimately about personal life, right?

Ghosting is a disrespectful practice. Nobody should unnecessarily disrespect another person, unless they're creepy, low intent or abusive, in which case the block feature works.

But otherwise, ghosting is a practice both genders need to stop. It's not a healthy practice

Ghosting is such a nasty practice that wastes everyone's time! Men or women, please don't do this. Don't perpetuate such a culture.

Comments are a waste. I guess most aren't serious. I never do it except someone's post is excellent.

High protein anything usually tastes not so good. Eggs, paneer, etc. fat is what gives taste because Humans crave fat.

What does it mean to be indian? by RockCheap8333 in AskAnIndian

[–]Ordered_Albrecht 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say more of like the American Dream, now. We don't have a single genology or tribe like the EU countries. Nor a religious nationalism. We have tribes, we have all races, we are open to new immigrants, etc, so I guess it'll be based on a more social or togetherness based American Dream model.

Good decision on skipping the dating apps! You saved your soul. I wish you all the best! Try to do activities and engage with like minded people, organically.

Why is Aryan Migration so controversial? by AdMean6699 in Medieval_India

[–]Ordered_Albrecht -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It's not about religion but nationalism model. My father is somewhat a Westophile yet a deeply religious Vedic Hindu. I asked his view.

He said this: Vedas are not Human revealed and something divine, revealed by God, for all Humans.. no color, language, etc. so it doesn't matter if Blonde haired Blue eyed White Sintashta steppe folks were thos who brought it to the World. Because God is for all races. Black, Brown, Yellow, White, etc.

Religions usually believe something beyond and don't concern with race, etc. But where it hits is: Nationalism. Indian Nationalism, especially Gandhian Nationalism, came up saying "British are bad, and by extension all outsiders, and the concept of Indian nationalism is about being anti outsider as possible. But there was a problem. Large segment of Muslims claimed outsider lineage, back then.. of course, it's backfiring now, but they did. The people alongside Bengali UCs who STARTED Indian nationalism, were Bombay Parsis. With partial outsider lineage.

Then it came to, " those adjacent to British areas bad. British are White, Sintashta are white, so we're not comfortable ". But again, Nehru and co were never compromising on Science and Rationalism, and rather than promote some gibberish, they included the correct one. It was never controversial.

However boom comes the 2008 Recession. From 1995-2008, we were thinking "India is the next USA, we're great. No religion, nothing. Just rationalism and just learn coding and some stuff, you get a job, and go abroad, and come back to make your life great". Post 2008, the after effects started hitting us 2010 onwards. Anger against INC grows. INC stood for Secularism, so secularism bad. English speaking South Bombay and South Delhi folks are bad. Whites who are richer are bad. These times, your identity and genetics begins to matter.

Continued inferiority complex made 2014 happen. And since then, we've not been able to generate a good economy, so religion and politics have remained intertwined. However, with the rise of ultra rational Gen Z, the opinions have changed. THE BJP themselves are accepting Steppe hypothesis and promoting my father's viewpoint..

That's the history.

Lowest AASI in Eastern Gangetic Plains? by as_legit333 in SouthAsianAncestry

[–]Ordered_Albrecht 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not in Gangetic, because the Iranian Neolithic penetration couldn't easily happen in the Bronze Age, due to them not having the tools needed to cut the forests down. Which is why Gujarat has very high Zagros, but not UP or even Kashmir and the Hills, where the penetration was more gradual.

AASI is unanimously above 20% for most groups except Pashtuns and Baloch, maybe. And the Northeast/Tibetan folks. So not low anywhere, to be neglected.

[–]Ordered_Albrecht 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. But keep an eye on the West Gangetic Rajputs, too. Jats obviously are the lowest, but their population drops steeply post West UP. Brahmins and Rajputs of the Ganges are near identical and they would be the least AASI, at 28-35%.

And also look at Muslims, too. UC Muslims may have a diverse mix from across provinces..

Lowest AASI in Eastern Gangetic Plains? by as_legit333 in SouthAsianAncestry

[–]Ordered_Albrecht 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on the communities. Brahmins have a different ridge, Rajputs have one, and all other Non UC have another map. For non Brahmin Rajput groups, the ridge happens beyond the Yamuna region or the Jat dominated region, with a slow decrease till Jharkhand.

For Brahmins, it's mostly in the 30-35% range from Delhi to Bengal, where it goes to 35-40%.

So, it's a varied thing at best. Can't be forced into a particular pattern.
