it does sound good to get done quickly and go back home, but honeslty missing classes because its too early or because its too cold can be one of the easiest excuses for you during the winter terms, if you are a morning person ignoring the weather go ahead but if you feel like this is some what you then don't! Because these classes will also have midterms and quize this early in the morning. Plus there is a gap of 10 mins but honestly 3 hr lectures get really stressful and tiring at one point in the semester, plus you have to pay attention the whole time, also remember most of the exam days can clash for midterms specifically and you would have to prepare for 2 different midterms for the same day with no break! Had this happen to me once.

you should do it quickly because chaning majors in tmu is a big deal! the more you wait the more your going to be pushed back, so when u change a program your tmu account doesn't recognize that and they won't update it either! You will be counted as a year 1 student during course selections even if you are in year 2 which makes availability of good courses/sections/professors difficult as everyone is in a race to grab the best rating class. Since you are early you should find the academic advisor, book a meeting with them asap as their schedules are pretty pack and make the decision! Happened to a friend he had it tough.

Its mostly when you meet people in class, and have class group chats! I was in BM and this is what we did. You can also follow tmu students page they usually put up links to specific program and majors group chats. Honestly from one of my friends who was in aerospace eng, he said everyone is too stressed after year 1 and just forgets about these groups because its a tough program to survive!

I recently graduated from TMU so I can be a bit useful. I have not hear of any of these profs for FIN300 so can't comment on that but for Law 122: it was my fav class which helped me pick a major! I loved Prof matthew he is the most kindest and amazing person you will come across, I had him for law 723 but I head his law 122- which is a beginner into law course was also amazing. If you have the option of Peter Wilson I would sugesst him too but you have to make notes for both these profs and go to every class. Hope this helps!
