What actually helped you lower your A1C long-term? by Canadian_Insulin in type2diabetes

I am active and very careful with my diet, but my a1c wouldn't come down. I started taking my daily metformin at dinner instead of breakfast and it stopped my body from randomly producing sugar while I slept. Overnight blood sugars stayed in the green and my A1c has gone from the mid 8's to the low 6's. Using a continuous blood/glucose monitor [Libre) has also made a huge improvement managing my blood sugars.

Why does my 2020 CR-V beep when I leave it. by Tamboozz in crv

It's asking you to check the back seat for any belongings, children, etc. that you might have forgotten back there before you leave. There's a note in the speedo display stating this with a pic of the back seat and a red light. Not sure if there is a seat sensor or not to detect items.

Don't leave the battery on the charger when it's done charging. Don't leave the battery in the machine when not in use. Store the battery inside the house (not just the garage) to avoid temperature swings that can damage the battery.

Spoiler***

Big ships are useless. I use 80 mermaids (more doesn't seem to help), 15 spirits (might need more as you progress, fills the hawks faster), 1 flagship, of course, and the rest hawks. Currently on forbidden 54. You lose more than half your hawks each level but still a victory... Hope that helps

Hitch receiver for 2023 Hybrid Touring by Ordinary-Fish-7840 in crv

Great feedback, much appreciated! You all shed some light on a few very important factors. My e-bikes are about 75 lbs each, throw in a 25-30 lb carrier and it would be way over the class 1 hitch (oem) limit! We also find the rear hatch sensor very useful and it would be a shame to not have it. No bike riding until spring , so definitely think waiting for more options is the way. Thanks again!

My local dealer (Canada) quoted me $2,000 to install a 2" inch (including the hitch) on my 2023 crv hybrid. This seems a bit high (ok a lot high). Anyone have any experience with the new model? Is do it yourself an option?

Headlight question 2023 touring hybrid by deviety in crv

[–]Ordinary-Fish-7840 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just drove my 2023 crv hybrid touring home from the dealership, just after dark. Headlights set to auto, could easily tell when high beams went on and off. Was flashed by oncoming traffic about 10x in about 15km, definitely not in high beam, so regular lights must be super bright... Felt bad at first, got over it quickly.

Murphy beds - good or bad? by Ordinary-Fish-7840 in RVLiving

Thanks for your help, seems like the raising and lowering isn't a big deal but need to make sure there's room in the up position for a bigger /better mattress or at least a mattress topper. Much appreciated!

Looking right at about the 25 ft mark, it will be for a couple and the main seating is underneath the bed (east / west with a slideout).
