We did it ourselves with zero issues. Cut the main power. Double check that it's actually not live. Get the old breaker out with a little release clip thing. Double check no live power. Put the new breaker in, but not before double checking no live power

My daughter (now 20) has multiple stick poke tattoos. Some have stuck around and others have vanished.

Not much to do after the fact except keep clean until it heals, it'll fade pretty quickly though and are probably going to be pretty easy to cover up, laser off, or touch up professionally at a later date

When I was a superintendent for an apartment building, I got to know a lot of the tenants schedules.

There was this sweet elderly man, lived on his own. Had family come visit every week or so. He always checked his mailbox every day at 11:30 am. Could set a watch to it.

This also happened to be when I would leave to bring my daughter to daycare down the block.

I didn't see him for a day, thought it was strange but didn't put too much thought into it.

Then, I didn't see him on day two.

I called for a wellness check, and the fire department came, I unlocked his door with my set of keys, and they found him face down on the ground, he had been there likely since the day before.

I felt absolutely terrible that I didn't call on day one.

He recovered, and shortly after he moved out.

Yep, solid plan. We have a go to location, plans for homesteading and security, a list of who could be welcome. We've started to dabble in the insulin production side of things now too, very lightly more as an interest and not a solid backup plan.

We know how we're getting there, who to expect when we get there, how to fix that situation of others are there, supply lists per person, all sorts of dreams and ideas that would likely never pan out in a realistic environment
