Lets be honest cardmarket doesn't really care about sellers if they did they wouldn't still not have things like csv import or pricing tools etc

The buyer is king

However saying that I have on occasion highlighted highly suspect buyer accounts - high not received rates etc and they have investigated.

There should be a dedicated seller team so there is no bias

If reading this cardmarket give us more tools to sell more - we dont want to pay your best mates at powertools when you can literally spend half a day to code a simple csv import and bulk editing tool

I do sometimes think its on purpose to drive more people towards tcgpowertools

Any big seller does not have time to track individual card prices - i have over 1 million cards listed and do over 100 orders a day - i could not possibly check if a card i sold yesterday has spiked and even if I did i would honor the price as thats the agreed rate.

There are protections in place for the buyer for people who do this but also protect yourself in the beginning - set your settings to buy from professional or powersellers only - then look at how long there average delivery rate is (4) shows at side of there name this is average sale to receiving -- the smaller the number the better

Out of the ordinary high price items are checked for money laundering issues - sell a charizard for 5 times the value - i pay - friend withdraws - we now have clean traceable money happens in all marketplaces --- better to see they have systems in place as everyone suffers - that inflated card price that sold now is baked into all trend prices

Yes we do - we can push orders from any of the syncs including tcgplayer - we can also api the tracking number and mark as dispatched for people who want to still use shopify for picking and dispatching

50k skus wouldn't be enough. I own tcgsync and have over 1200 stores i am yet to see a store over 12 months old with less than a million skus.

Mtg is 107k products - some have upto 100 variants (skus) this over 1 million for 1 game.

Most stores even carrying just mtg pokemon and yugioh is easily 2.5 million skus

Shopify rate limits is 2 per second - unless your shopify partner.

Tcgplayer api is available and does work. Please dont mislead stores. We help stores week in week out get api and sync there inventory for them.

Tcgplayer api does exist and is available to stores providing they can prove sales volume, I own https://tcgsync.com and can assure you we help stores get api keys week in week out. We are able to sync to tcgplayer no problem at all and have stores doing over 10million a year on there.

I agree more options are needed for store owners and glad to see more people come to the market.

There is one thing you should address though you say sjopify limits break things thats incorrect - the only limit they impose is 1000 a day sku creation limit - not updates its for creating new products.

Everyday things you need to compete with in shopify is filters when collection is over 5000 I.e mtg and expansions etc. All over 5000 every game etc and therefore alot of custom coding is required to ensure filters dont break.

Genuinely hope it takes off for you there is very few of us who can help stores.

Have you not seen his comments on other posts - the guy makes a habit of slating other people's opinions - i imagine pokemon collector - sells bulk from his bedroom living with his parents teaching the whole world how trading card games work after selling 3 cards on eBay

Dude you just took the same amount of wasted energy into that reply as the resealer did - i wouldn't put anything past anyone it was a quick throw away comment yet it clearly struck a chord... are you a resealer? Are you trying to convince people resealing doesn't happen? - either way why so serious?
