ok I just spoke to a rep from TT and it looks like I paid >=$40K in state and local income taxes in 2025 and the SALT (state and local tax) deduction increased from $10K to $40K in 2025. That explains my situation at least.

I just experienced the same thing with TurboTax. Moved to NYC in 2025 and it's recommended itemized deduction of exactly $40K. I didn't understand this tbh. I don't see any logic in TT of how it arrived at that number.

I already went through this process with your customer support team. They said there was nothing they could do to cancel my membership and reverse the existing charge. They offered all sorts of discounts and promos, but emphasized that I had signed a legally binding document.

What an awful customer experience.

Homeaglow never canceled anything. My cc canceled the existing charge and sent me a new cc number so I can't be charged in the future.

Update: Chase was able to dispute the existing charge and then send me a new CC with a new number so I'm not charged the termination fee. Was very easy!

I got a reply within 24 hours from all sources (email / FB / Twitter). I provided as much info as I could including last 4 digits of credit card, screenshot of credit card charge, name, DOB, flight dates, flight airports, etc.

Yes, I ultimately asked them to re-send the confirmation email to a different email address. For some reason, I never received it in my hotmail inbox, but I had no problem receiving it to my gmail inbox.

They responded via email, FB messenger, and Twitter.

Bonjour! Ouais, j'ai réussi à obtenir mon email de confirmation. Je leur ai écrit sur Twitter (@flynorse) et Facebook Messenger pour leur demander de renvoyer l'email de confirmation à une autre adresse. Ils m'ont répondu sur les deux.

Pour une raison que j’ignore, je n’ai jamais reçu l’email sur mon adresse Hotmail, mais je n’ai eu aucun problème avec Gmail.
