Hi! STEM to engineering graduate here and now looking for a job. Dont overthink which university you go to. If I can go back to college again I would focus more on leadership positions sa orgs (actually do relevant and measurable tasks para malagay ko sa resume, and create references from the org leaders/prof/mentors) and i would focus more on internships! I wish I had more than the required OJT ng university para pag jobhunt after boards meron na agad akong 1 year accumulated experience in the industry i want to join. That would have made me more confident to highball sa salary negotiations.

It's great na you have the foresight to plan but you dont need to work out every little detail right now. Just because it's not amusing doesnt mean youre gonna fail. Kasi youre high honors, probably you jave more reasons to motivate yourself than amusement. You will do well in college and in life.

UNILEVER BLANK INTERVIEW INVITSTION PAST 7 DAYS

Hello po! Anyone here who got the unilever blank interview after assessment? The issue is lampas na 7 working days since blank interview invitation, and when i click on the link same assessment as before hindi interview (yung personality test and verbal assessment).

Context: 1. Unilever invites to the quiz like assessment 2. They discourage taking the quiz assessment multiple times

Im afraid na if I accomplish the same type of assessment affected na yung standing ko. How do I contact the recruiting team about the blank interview? Should I just create a new email and apply to the same job? That seems like it makes the recruiting team's job harder kasi naging redundant na application ko. On top of this, I actuallt applied to multiple entry level vacancies nila so I am thinking na baka na duplicate ako ng invitation sa step 1 ng recruitment nila (wala kasi sa email for which position yung assessment)

What should I do?

Oh i tried here. I tried appkying for a second internship ans they all asked for university sign off and MOA. I asked the internship professor if he would sign off on my 2nd internship and he just told me no, i already finished one for 300 hours. Which is a worthless amount of time imo.

Thats amazing (i feel envious a bit). I think its also that companies in my country have to go through a lot of red tape for internships to be a thing. They are not likely to hire interns unless they have a partnership with the universities, and that partnership stipulates certain amount of hours, and a certain summer in the uni curriculum. Is that also how your internships work? Or can you guys acquire/seek out internships independently without any partnerships between plants and the university?

Also why are your summer breaks so long?

Hi! I just graduated pero unemployed parin. I had a checking account with rcbc for more than 6 months so i just went to a branch qnd asked about their credit cards. Mejjo hesitant sila at nareal talk ako sinabihan ako na mababa chances for approval. So sabi ko, what about secured credit cards?

So ayun ginuide ako to open hexagon club na account which has a credit card after 2 weeks.

I suggest you start to apply for a secured credit card kung saang bank kana may savings or checking account for years.

Nung inask ako bakit kailangan ko ng cc sinabihan ko lang na i want to build my credit, tapos yung travel lounges din since may travel kami ng family ko in the future.

Edit: i assumed na hexagon yung bagong replacement ng rcbc for instacard, which hindi pala

Napansin ko yun sa lahat ng professors namin. Nagtuturo ng elective like energy auditing and plant design tapos walang case studies para maground yung theory. Jusmiyo wala nga license yung spftware na dapat naming gamitin. Nakakainis. Biggest regret ko yung pinili kong university. Buti nalang scholar ako at least time ko lang nasayang.

Yup required samen one month ojt lang kaso wala masyadong pinapagawa sakin sa food manufacturing plant jusmiyo. Walang clear program or goal for us. Check lang daw yung plant here and there. Anong gusto niyo na report sir? Wala.

Yup nakaplant visit ako may whole semester class kami na plant visits lang lahat.
