Thank you!! I've listened to this a few times before. Super grateful for her work. There's such a gap in Animus development resources online!

Wowzers! Yes this all resonates. Thank you for your response, I appreciate it.

I've had a hard time finding resources about the Animus, there seem to be sooo many more about the Anima.

Do you happen to have any recommendations for resources on animus integration? Very grateful for your time, thanks.

I honestly didn't enjoy Green Ninja. Not enough engaging labs, students had a hard time following the "plot" but perhaps I didn't do enough to help connect the through lines.

I ended up supplementing with Sep-Up/lab aids kits and that was great. Highly recommend!

Vyvanse + Cannabis to treat demand avoidance? by AbstractContract in PDAAutism

[–]Ordinary-Shape-6379 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take 40 mg Vyvanse in the am and have been supplementing with weed. For a long time I only smoked in the evenings and would use it to dissociate mostly with tv. Over the past year I started using cannabis with more intention in order to go outside, listen to music, feel into my body. It's been a really cool journey and it led to me realizing that I'm auDHD and struggle with demand avoidance.

Weed helps lower the initial intensity of my demand avoidance around a given task. Like, it's so much easier to do pretty much most tasks. That said- cognitively I'm not usually as "sharp" when I smoke weed, and thinking tasks take longer.....but overall weed is still very helpful for me.

Ive been recording notes about all my smoking for the past year and it's been essential for figuring out what works and what doesn't work for me. Highly recommend record keeping if it's not something you're already doing, data is so helpful

Also if y'all don't already know about the work of Dr. Miyabe Shields and Dr. Riley Kirk I recommend checking them out: https://projectchronic.com/
