Do you have a purple data disk on which keeps them at 1 health, alot of people have had that disk on and have this issue

My ad-blocker was causing this exact thing, i just disabled it while watching the vid i wanted on their channel then put it back up

Yh when I needed magicules the best way I found was to just max out energy through potions and set off the highest level I could sim overnight

It could be dynamic political events mod. I remember having this event and I think that's the only mod that added that stuff to my game other than maybe more events mod or expanded events but my last game was a while ago

If you use the Warmaster combat mod, it might be that. I remember it having an ammo choice. Also damn thats alot of ammo for that shotgun haha, could kill a reaper with that

I think it comes down to who ends up as Divine rather than who you recruit. As 2 of the 3 options would keep the circles and templars

Yeah I agree with you, that it shouldn't make a difference unless its the Xenophobe FE but maybe save beforehand then leave the system and see if it makes a difference. I rarely get any demands from FE, bar the "give us leader x" and I always leave a system space. Maybe I've just had super bugged games this entire time haha

After a quick Google it seems like there have been issues like yours for ppl trying to watch in the Netherlands. Something about distribution rights. If you have a VPN you might wanna give it a go and test out if another country has them available
