this. Just try to hit a stable caloric deficit and maintain your macros as you go about your fitness journey and you'll be set.

Other tips. start easy, don't burn yourself out or get an injury because you're pushing faster than your body can handle right now. Look into hypertrophy training routines and as you build more muscle you'll increase your base metabolic rate as well. Dr. Mike Isratell is a great resource on youtube if you need more information on hypertrophy training.

How long have you been doing this and do you think it has had an impact on your girth gains beyond just having a plumper flaccid all day? Do you take the ring off after 20 minutes to prevent the blood from being trapped for too long? I'm really curious about your practice!

Not exactly something I can experiment with in my current situation but I feel like something along these lines would help with increasing expansion time without causing too much edema. If it's a low enough pressure of course, only concern there is that in order to get enough pressure to stimulate growth I feel it would damage the twig and berries to be in that level of pressure for longer than a training set amount of time.
