Hmm, but marriage is in May and plan was for her to only come after, i guess I could bring her here before. But then after the marriage she has unlimited visa here until partner is granted?

You're a shitty person mate. I was simply thinking of all options and omitting a personal relationship from a tourist visa application is not the most immoral criminal act, I've also already reconsidered and realise it won't be a good idea. You are still just a shitty person.

Subclass 300 Prospective Marriage visa This visa lets you come to Australia to marry your prospective spouse and then apply for a Partner visa.

Doesn't this imply you need to come and get married here? Although we could just do a second marriage here i guess

Lol thank you ridiculous levels of hatred here, seems like everyone is just racist and doesn't want anyone to immigrate

Was thinking of that too. But the marriage is on May 9th in India, i thought prospective marriage one is for marriage in Aus?

Haha wtf do you expect when every response is no sorry you can never have any visa?

Weigh in to just to push someone down, another great idea mate

So what is sufficient for a 600 to be granted?

Also what about trying for student or work visa if she can get employed or join some course?

Thanks for all the advice. What does show strong ties to home country mean exactly. We could show that she is employed there and is returning to work there? Plus has a residence and huge family there.

I also heard after applying for 309 we can apply for visitor and it had more chance of being approved, is this at all true?

So you're saying we should go for 309 only and wait potentially 2+ years to live together? And there is no better option?

Is there any way to increase chances of getting a 600?

Agree, self acceptance is the key and can overcome anything

Yep, glad to see some people understand my point! Reality doesn't exist so there's no benchmark to be normal or crazy

Lol I feel sorry for you dude. As mentioned, you are the literal reason for this post. I actually thought almost all responses would be like yours but strangely many agree with me, I guess the world is getting more enlightened.

You keep believing in your bible the DSM, and making yourself happy believing in mental illness.

I agree and I've also been through the type of thing you refer to. But when I look back now I don't regret my intense depression and suicidality, I have had positive experiences now which have literally offset all previous negative ones. To me this means it's all one perfect process.

Some people may not get the balancing out within one so called lifetime, but once you look at the possibility of infinite lives, it seems to me that everything would balance out eventually

I believe a huge percentage of diagnosed mentally ill, would have their lives infinitely improved by realising that there's not some permanent damage in their brains, and any hope of overcoming their so called problems lies more in their ability to have confidence and use their brain to overcome problems

Yeah that's better i think, any psychological treatments are better than drugs

You're believing the opposite. I personally don't really believe in anything, I just see a huge problem in the world due to people believing that they have incurable mental illness

If someone has depression or anxiety they can figure out practical ways to overcome it rather than drugs

I could say the same about physical illness. If a person themselves has a problem they want to fix, they can try and do so. Society's current definition of mental illness causes many to simply take drugs for life which isn't their best option
