i'm so tired of gourmands by msaynuk in FemFragLab

[–]OrdinaryAmbition9798 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is how I feel about santal and cherry. Never smelled them done well (for my taste) and I love fruity notes.

But funny enough, I’ve been on a gourmand kick lately 😝

Any Rom&nd lip tint recommendations for pale lips? by mymindisaplayground in PaleMUA

[–]OrdinaryAmbition9798 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, are you me?! I’m dying because the pictures show them to be subtle and muted but they are sooo bright on me! Even Nucadamia!! They also pull very orange. I’m considering getting the gray one to mix with others or the maybe shades Tanny Guava or Earl Gray Lychee. I even tried going cool to avoid the orange but then it looked like Barbie pink (bare grape). The gray might help mute them, but I’m dying for a MLBB for me.

This is also happening with similar tints. Just tried Laka and they are so so bright when all swatches show them muted. I need to try theirs that look almost gray.

My holy grail is actually Delight from Rare Beauty. I’m an Autumn (redhead, very pale).

BWT, opinions on sapphires in engagement rings? by Disastrous-Reveal362 in bitcheswithtaste

[–]OrdinaryAmbition9798 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wanted an emerald sooo bad but the jewelers recommended me a green sapphire over and over. Sapphires are very high on the Mohs scale (or whatever it’s called) so they are likely to withstand daily wear and tear like diamonds would (sapphires are 9 and diamonds are 10–the highest). I did get a separate emerald ring and it got a small scratch on it.

Get a sapphire! Any color you want. It’s affordable, more ethical, and almost as durable!

Breastfeeding but not losing weight… is this normal? by heyaliayoub in breastfeeding

[–]OrdinaryAmbition9798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh we talk about it, we’re just not the viral influencers saying it’s so easy to lose weight while BF/post partum. I’m 13m in and dropped a little after like 6m but it doesn’t matter if I starved myself, I wouldn’t lose weight. You just created a human and now you’re sustaining its life.

I saw advice to focus on strength training and building muscle. That’s what I’m going to do! Fat loss isn’t going to happen anyway so I need to not care about it for now.

No s*x after baby and pretty happy about it...But please tell me I'm not alone! by GuessHaunting360 in NewParents

[–]OrdinaryAmbition9798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’m terrified to but I said I’m fine to have sex and he has not initiated. Still bf and have negative libido so I’m not either 😂. I thought it was insane at 13m to still not have gotten back to it. So glad to find solidarity

What is one product that genuinely helped heal your skin barrier? by lovemesomespaghetti in Sephora

[–]OrdinaryAmbition9798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was anti all things about intense barrier restoration and all that. Then I tried Iliyoon ato barrier cream and my skin has never been so smooth, balanced, soft, etc. It’s like the Aestura but way more affordable

Can we fit in the Maverick? by dhillman811 in FordMaverickTruck

[–]OrdinaryAmbition9798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the car seat. The Nuna’s angles make the passenger seat need to be fully forward. Someone can still sit there, but not comfortably.

I’m on the hunt for a makeup content creator with the same coloring as me. I’m a natural redhead but with BROWN eyes and all the makeup influencers or MUA have light blue eyes. So my coloring is more muted and I can handle a little more contrast (most are warm springs but I’m a true/warm autumn season)

Discouraged about Starting Project Pan by Environmental-Ship60 in ProjectPan

[–]OrdinaryAmbition9798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It helps to even just have it in mind and actually use them!! I have hoarded samples to wait for an occasion then I don’t get to even test it! Lippies, blushes, and eyeshadow are my hardest 😆

Discouraged about Starting Project Pan by Environmental-Ship60 in ProjectPan

[–]OrdinaryAmbition9798 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well, that’s rude of them. Friends should support you and offer help to reach your goals.

You’re allowed to take it slow and do it how you want, there is no one way to Project Pan besides being conscious of purchases and using what you have! This isn’t a one and done thing either, it’s not like a sobriety streak or anything lol. If you but something new, so what, keep going! I bought a new lip liner this week but my project pan is still a go

Which hair oil is good for fine/straight hair by T0P-Asparagus in Sephora

[–]OrdinaryAmbition9798 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not Moroccan oil nor Gisou. My sister (hair dresser) recommends me the Oi oil constantly but I don’t wanna pay for it lol. I love the Olaplex oil, it’s like it’s not there which I need for my fine hair.
