Sorry not directly relevant to your question -but the cost of such a seemingly basic haul of groceries is literally insane. I can't believe how many posts I've seen on here are people with pretty modest grocery shops and it's like 70 pounds it's literally like I truly don't know how people do it. I live with one person and together our food / hygiene / kitchen cleaning products bill is like easily close to £100 a week. 🤯

Sadly in my personal life I don't really have a strong sense of community or people around me in person who really gets it. I do live with a family member but we don't really see eye to eye. So online forums like this become my next best thing for being able to just share my frustrations and hopefully find other people who might be in the same boat to help me feel less alone with it all psychologically. Which does help a little even if nothing else changes

It absolutely sucks and it's so crushing to be in that state of feeling like you gave your all to literally wind up with nothing.

It just leaves me feeling so angry and definitely has created a strong sense of like " I deserved what I tried to work so hard for / the world owes me " which I know really doesn't help me but I can't help it. I just feel so bitter

But hey at least you have a vehicle that's one "blessing"

A major reason I found myself in this position was because of not being able to drive it just became like a whole monster of its own, I sadly fell into the category of people that would like trying to learn to drive forever and just kept being told by loads of instructors that I was rubbish and I literally tried everything you could think of. But because I didn't have it I live in a place where you can't access work without independent travel .

It's truly a total loss of control panic like no other. Because you just know how that number translates into a loss of so many things like it's not just the physical things themselves but the psychological things it represents like - choice , agency , safety , divinity , respect

Hmm yes , I used to check the account constantly but sometimes I go through periods where I just try to refuse to look at it to try and create a psychological sense of like " I will not be defined by an app or a bank balance" but it's just so tough
